Sorry my technical English isn't the best but here a short explanation on what happens there. There are two ways in electronic for dimming a light source first is via power. A standard light bulb for an example gets darker if the power decreases. LEDs need a certain amount of power to work properly and now it gets tricky. The second way for dimming is called "pulse width modulation" or short PWM. Imagine a blinking LED that is on for one second and off for the next second, you could say this LED is half on or half off depending on your view of things. But it is still blinking, now we increase the frequency to lets say 1ms. The LED is now on for 1ms and off for the next 1ms. Now your eyes can't see it blinking anymore because the human eye can't capture differences over a certain frequency (I don't want to use a number here because people would start arguing about their new 200Hz monitor). Because this LED is off half of the time it is just half as bright. Now imagine the LED is on for 1ms and off for 3ms.... yup even darker. So, now why does it shows up on video like this? What does a camera do to make a video? Lots of single pictures. The amount of pictures per second is now important, gamers know that as FPS (frames per second). Small cameras like in cell phones are tiny, tiny lenses tiny picture converter. The problem is, to take a decent picture they need more time of exposure(especially in low light conditions). With more time needed to take a single picture the FPS drops. This pattern evolves through the fact that now one picture caught the LEDs on another picture caught them off, also the overlay of the both frequencies from the PWM and the FPS take a big part. If you watch other videos from the Rogue shoot with bigger and better cameras the lights look totally fine, for reasons of FPS. You may ask yourself what kind of teacher this kind knowledge got? I am just an ordinary industrial mechanic from Germany. Oh by the way, as someone who doesn't want to sell me a car. Would you recommend this car? Especially for someone who pays 5.32USD per gallon?
Great Video - Is it possible to get a DVR to install with the 5 cameras that are already in the car so you can record the cameras as a part of your driving pattern and ofcourse when the car is parked?
great video , u seems have a lot of knowledge u may help me in my question how tp activate the Lane Departure Prevention I saw the Nissan video in this link they say in the driver assist menu go to driving aids and then select lane there are warning and assist ,,, MY PROBLEM NOW I don't have the assist , I only have warning ,, can u please help me to find that assist option that is missing FYI I own SL trim with Platinum Pack ,, and they state every where that I have LDP so where can I find that ?
Coachs Corner There is a button below and left of steering wheel. Pictogram or a car with circles around. You nees to push that button after every time you start the engine to enable the LDP. Unfortunately the LD Prevention merely applies the brakes lightly. There is no steering wheel adjustment like we find in the Hondas.
I have a question anyone. I have a 2017 Rough and one day I was leaving working and the car stopped like the car hit the car brakes on its own. Something red flashed real quick in the dashboard to quick for me to catch what it said. My question do anyone know what happen??? The car drives good but for the life of me I don’t know what happen also for a second it felt like I was driving on the side of the road you know like the rough part of the highway.
