I tried this cable today on a similar car ‘16 mustang but it couldn’t disable the alarm. It kept failing. I must have tried a dozen times. Did it take a few tries for you? Also did you do anything to the ultrasonic sensors?
I'm pretty sure that he disconnected the positive cable first. Then clipped one clip to the battery post and the other to the loose cable that he had disconnected earlier.
Hey brother how’s it going I was trying to program keys for 2020 Ford F450 With t turn key ignition 128 bit ford key, I couldn’t get it to program because the alarm was active I was wondering if the Ford cable can help in this case I know you did it but you worked on a smart key system do you have any idea?
So far I’ve only tried it on a fusion and this mustang. Both push start and both worked. I will have to look at the tool and see if it has the option to use the cable on this vehicle. Next time I’m in my van I’ll check it and let you know what it says.
I checked it. F450 isn’t listed specifically. Checked the other f series and 2020+ doesn’t have an option for the cable. It also doesn’t mention the alarm being active it just says you have to backup the d flash then leave keys. Sounds like a new system
@@russej02 Thanks. Tried on a 2017 keyless Focus this morning. Couldn't work it out. Came home and had a look in my Godiag books, have to go through Mondeo 2016- menu for active alarm 🤷♂️
@@russej02 Just returned from another failed attempt. It came up with a key sensing error. I was using an aftermarket id49. Generated 15-19 Focus id49 in case it has to be an xhorse key. Still wouldn't work. Definitely in the right place. Centre console arm rest. Picture of a key at the bottom.
I've done 21 ford edge Akl other day wiv CAN FD IM508 actived alarm!
Worked perfect.
Nice! I have the can FD for autel and Propad. I have not had a chance to try either one
@@russej02 I'm not familiar with propad I think so it's same.

@@iskooobydoo nope it just works. Only on push starts though. Used it several times this video
Today i tried the xhorse cable on 2018 Freestyle smartkeywith no success.
I want know the programing proceedure
The tool tells you. You just have to follow directions
I wonder if you can use the xhorse mini obd programmer?
Definitely not. The programmer have to have its own power. And the mini OBD two requires power from the car
Hi, like to ask if “code source” has automobile cuts as well as residential etc…? Thanks!
Never used hpc code source If that’s what you mean but none of the code programs have residential. There’s no need for code fill for residential.
Confused about the positive lead and the positive post do you mean the red on the fuse box when you said positive lead
The key tool plus has a very easy to follow diagram

Good friend
Thank you
does ford cable work on xhorse vvdi or only work on new tool plus
As far as I know only the key tool plus but I’m totally sure
Ford cable can work on xhorse vvdi tool max max?
I have no idea. But I’d honestly be surprised if it did
How can this be performed on dodge ?
alarm shouldnt matter on dodge
Tried the Xhorse cable on 2017 Fusion with no success
I did a fusion. It worked
Can you use the xhorse Ford cables with other immo programers?
I don’t think so because it’s software driven
@@russej02 okay thanks 👍

Was the vehicle keyless or bladed key please?
Key less. This doesn’t work on keyed.

@russej02 What menu did you use? In the book it reads on the tool, China market Mondeo? Also, did you cover the ultrasonics inside the vehicle?
It's a hit or miss with it. Doesn't work on f series either
It’s worked everytime I tried it. Only on push starts though
Will it work with key tool max pro?
I don’t know
upload videos with full program
I didn’t film because I honestly didn’t think it was going to work

Can it program 2021 f150 push start. @russej02
@@AdamJames. that vehicle is FDRS only. No aftermarket tools can do it
this car is garbage car?
I wouldn’t say that. Just can’t program keys if the alarm is active
