I was looking for something like this. Great to find it exists. Wish it had more outputs though. Just wish the Dahua tech support wasn't so terrible. Had a genuine issue which appeared to be a software bug and they literally refused to help and gave the weirdest excuse I've ever heard. Then refused to respond after that. 🤷♂️

Hi sorry I did not reply you first, depending on the requirement for channels, I think NVR5216-16P-I is a great choice as a very versatile device since it also does back-end analysis, but the “non-intelligent” models without the “I” are also a great choice, in general 5 series is awsome

I really like my Dahua XVR. Very powerfull device. I do wish the CPU would be more powerfull, i.e. for an 8-channel recorder to be able to analyze most if not all 8 channels at the same time without reaching the CPU's limit after trying to enable AI on anything more than a single camera. My 10+ old CPU has more processing power than this XVR. Also, I wish it would have a way to automate arming/disarming the XVR, its alarms and recording with a simple swipe of an RFID card or similar. Turning it back on should be just as simple. Better still, if the XVR could be integrated with my smart home and Home Assistant server and could disarm every time I come home and automatically arm itself when I leave, either based on geolocation data and/or my phone being connected to my homw wifi network. I'll take 10% of this idea, than you :)

It is not possible since it is not integrated, it is supposed to be used with an NVR or XVR

Can multiple sensors be used parallelly in the same relay input port?🤞
It is an alarm I/0 input so which ever sensor triggers it should be detected as the same input

It is not possible since it does not have any RS485 ports, we recommend NVR4 and 5 series
For me it wuld be great if you had an onption to comunicate via MQTT or Get/Post (http) methods.
