Perfect Sailing! Our best sail ever - Flat seas and fair winds! #17

Join us in this video as we leave Cascais and have one of our best ever sailing days in fabulous conditions with flat seas and good winds on our way down the coast towards Sines in Portugal. We’d spent a few days at anchor in Setubal enjoying finally getting to swim in the sea and some sunshine when a new forecast meant we should look to leave sooner rather than later or risk being weather bound so we packed up (sadly without filming any of our time there) and set off. What a day we had! Having spent so much time since leaving the U.K. with unfavourable conditions or self imposed restrictions due to reports of Orca attacks, we finally had the weather and felt the freedom to sail freely with it due to a lack of reported Orca attacks and boy did we make the most of it!! It was fantastic sailing!!!

Thanks Matthew….occasionally a bit of my former professional skipper and instructor life still comes out! Power was my thing though so those big white flappy things on the stick in the middle of the boat are a mystery sometimes! 😂😂

Hi Norma yes we were off Cartegna but now in the Mar Menor for a couple of days waiting for the next decent weather window 😊
