  • Some of you have requested a 'fuller length' version of a video from last month showing the driveway getting pressure washed. I am more than happy to accommodate!
    Enjoy the satisfaction that comes from seeing a pressure washer clean filthy concrete. I tested this electric pressure washer the only way I know how to test products. By abusing it until I gave up or it broke. After 4 hours on my driveway I had scoliosis and 24 herniated discs, but the washer never failed. Solid reviews on Amazon as well(my affiliate link): amzn.to/2IoquKS
    Prefer gas? No worries, you can pick up the best gas cans ever here: ( Justrite 5 gal) amzn.to/2TniYS9 (Justrite 2.5 gal) amzn.to/2FvFCoo
    Dirty driveways being cleaned, moldy brick scoured fresh, and cleaning rain gutters are some of the oddly satisfying things pressure washers can give us! Hopefully you liked this video and are looking forward to more relaxing pressure washing videos in the future!

    I bought one of those spinning disc attachments from Home Depot for about $60. WHAT A LIFESAVER! blasts a 15 inch wide path with ease. Practically floats in your hand. Pretty effortless and will save your back and a ton of time. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

    • @captbill279
      @captbill279 5 лет назад

      It's not really any faster if you have good technique, like he seems to have. What is needed is a bigger pressure washer. That puny electric pressure cleaner he is using is what is slow. No electric washer is even able to drive a surface cleaner. They are only good for big/high volume, professional setups. I do this for a living and I prefer washing with a wand like he is doing here unless I have a giant driveway that requires hours and hours of time.

    Looks good Brad. I'd recommend getting one of the surface cleaners. I used to power wash decks like this and took forever and it was streaky. The surface cleaner is so much faster and does a much better job. Good job on it.

    I don’t know about your area but here in my locale I can average $100 per hour(after fuel and chemical)soft washing houses,pressure washing fences and concrete surfaces and $60 per hour doing lawn care(before fuel).unfortunately there’s much more lawn care work than washing work available but lawn care opens the door to washing gigs and vice versa

    Believe me when I say, I feel your pain! I still remember not being able to get up the next morning after a 4-hour run with a gas unit. Only difference, I was getting paid AND I had to fudge around while cars were driving by. (this was a commercial drive thru pad)
    Honestly it's amazing that a tiny little lightweight unit can do so much! I just have one question: At what point in time did this project NOT seem like such a grand idea? If I remember correctly, after 3 hours and 30 minutes you hit the point where you just want to put the machine away, crawl into a hot bathtub and cry yourself to sleep.

    If that was my driveway, muddy tire tracks would make me want to get out the hose and clean 'em off, every time!
    In MN winter, going through the car wash is needed because road salt and mud get splashed on cars...

      @@CopperCreekCuts I guess it's more about filming mowing. I saw a video about a farm cleanup where the camera was put on top of the barn and the whole grassy field area being mowed was shown without having to move the camera. I really enjoyed it, other than the fact that the video was in ludicrous speed. ;) Anyway, I was wondering if you would consider doing a video with the camera set up on top of your truck and showing the whole lawn just to see if you liked it and see what kind of response it would get. (That's a question that doesn't end in a question mark because I read that if you start the sentence with "I wonder", then you don't put a question mark at the end.) :D

      I can try! Most of the lawns I run into have tiny yards or the biggest spot is in the back so I don't really have a chance to use that setup, but I will be on the lookout! ;)

      You probably did! I made a quicker version last month, this is a longer version as folks were asking for one. Thank you for the comment!

    Had to dislike because you skipped the grass removal at 8:57. I would have liked to see you spray it very hard. Potentially would have subscribed. Please improve :)
