You forgot the most important tip: Upgrade. Your. Lantern. These dungeons are DARK. Pitch fucking black. The basic lantern is really bad and produces 5 times less light than the fully upgraded one! So be sure to upgrade it at Flokir's table!
Huge tip here! At the checkpoint in Eye of the Needle, a deer spawns everytime and when u kill it u get a speckled mushroom, it regenerates alot of health over time. Theres also an enemy that gives 280 Scoria! I recommend farming them then resetting their spawns by interacting with the checkpoint! Hope this helps!!

A better scoria farming way is to kill the defiler(big crawling guy with axe and red eyes) in the high level cave in the first zone(the cave wher a dark lady thing teleports deeper and deepr) along with the enemies on the way. you will get around 4-5k along with smith materials and the defiler has a good change of dropping a large scoria bag which gives 10k scoria

Why did you regret dropping weapons you only use in the beginning and then just leave them to sit in storage until the end of the game. I have dropped most of the weapons I'm probably never going to use.
Just beat it ilthis morning, The toughest boss in the game is Shadow of the Ashen. Good luck fighting him cause you'll need it. (I used the starting weapon my whole playthrough as it did more Phys damage then anything I could find)
@@Longnima i would say its worth 40, not even close to 60/50, but a good 40 euro. this is not dark souls in style only in sorta controls and mechanics, weapons(weapons are either stun or crit, speed vs damage, movesets different between all in a subtle way), armor(few and one piece) and character progress is simpler and different(no leveling, no spells, no arrows, you get hp and stamnina from side missions and feathers). the thing that i didnt expect from this game, but won me the fuck over, was the movement and exploration. the movement is like dark souls EXCEPT you can jump and grap ledges like a normal, and the game knows so it hid lots of loot in places you would only notice if you took a creative path through an area. a GREAT WAY to illustrate this is, Imagine as a kid being on a beach will a bunch of giant rocks to climp, jump and skip on, thats how its feels.

It's really good for playing through once. It doesn't have any real replayability though. All weapons, shields and armor are basically the same with only slight variations in stats. The combat is very basic and bare-bones. More Zelda than Souls. But the open world is great, the level design is superb, the graphics are excellent and there's co-op. It's pretty difficult but not as much as Souls. I played through it once, thoroughly enjoyed it, and then left it and didn't come back due to lack of replayability. It was a 15-16 hour journey for me. So I would classify it as slightly short in arpg standards.

There is a chest in vagrants rest along a stone wall. If you progress enough, the NPC's will build your house around it
