Completely agree, when depression starts creeping up I can just play this song, breath and just repeat. "This is gonna be the best day of my life". My problems do not go away obviously, but I feel as if I can handle them better.
I remember seeing this on the music channel on me tv when I was younger. Made me feel happy and still does.
I've never known another song that had the same seemingly magical way of making me so instantaneously happy. Even when I first heard this song while in a depressed state, it made me smile, and the rest of my day afterward felt good. I love this song as something more than a fantastic musical composition.

The hours spent playing Manhunt across our street-lamp illuminated neighborhood, the campfires, the stories spun, the late night swims, the tropical storms... god this song means so much to me.
