These souls are among the most incredibly beautiful, grounded, inspirational empaths that you could ever know. Happy spring love to you, Nate, Sunshine, and Duncan! It's so nice to see you and the sustainable bus last year in person and here virtually. Thank you Cheapliving for showcasing them! ✨️🐾🌱💜🫶🕉
I really liked their little home. They live outside and have everything they need to make it happen inside and organized. Love the hammock idea and that frees up space for the times that they need to be out of the elements and move around inside. Lovely couple and their fur baby. 🚙🐕👍❤️
These folks have built themselves a really cool lil home👍🏻 Not super complicated or ridiculously overdone, what they need and are comfortable. These are the videos and builds on the channel that made me a fan. Real people living real life the best they can❤️ No super expensive builds and fanciness that real people cannot afford anymore because of people with seeming like deep pockets, that’s good for them, but that I feel has helped incredibly in driving prices to ridiculous levels that are impossible for most of to afford. Again thank you for showing a build that is more to the roots of the original content. Well done👍🏻
I like what you say and I support only these type of channels. I don’t care about fancy builds or music and extreme editing. Van builds are getting ridiculous and only a small percentage can actually do that. In actuality everyone is look for the same thing. A good place to sleep without the KNOCK.
It’s beautiful to see Nate and Sunshine in their element. They are both incredible yoga teachers and Sunshine is a Master vegan chef - thus the unconventional build-out of their bus. 🥰♥️
They appear to be a very cool couple but there is no way I can live in their bus the way it is, it's like a big rolling kitchen. I need a fixed bed, and a toilet and a shower. What makes this life so exciting and interesting is that we are all different in our wants and needs and yet we all get along and help each other.
I think that same thing all the time! That to an outsider, You would think all van lifers would be the same. But each one of us has different emphasis on what we need or want from our space. Like you, I don't need a kitchen. In fact in my van I have no kitchen. Because I don't like to cook. I like to go places and find delicious things to eat.
It was wonderful meeting a couple that seems to truly appreciate each other and is willing to share their living space. I loved seeing the "found object" nesting- kids toy shelf, shoe organizer- like previous comments had mentioned- some builds are so insane cost wise having this tour show how you can make everyday items work was really nice. Hope to see how it evolves over time!
I love that they sleep in a double hammock strung up inside (and im sure outside too when its nice out). I love sleeping in my backpacking hammock and man thats a great space saver for them!
I love the painted curtain with that skyview at the window - that is very nice. The case with all those pink and colored plastic boxes reminded me of a kids dollhouse, and stroke me as very odd. Somehow I miss all the functional parts of ways to live in this space. Must have missed something, but this just didn;t make any sense to me. sorry :-/
very cool couple and plant based is what caught my ears. I’m always looking for the vegan community within the nomadic communities. great build wish I could afford something that big. Nice couple going to checkout there channel thanks guys 😊
Thank you! This was the cheaper option for us vs buying a van during COVID. We had a lovely time with Rolling Vegan Rendezvous at the 23 RTR and carried the potluck tradition to Skooliepalooza.
Just bought a 1998 chevey 1500 passenger van a few weeks ago. Im 21 and want to do vanlife and eventually purchase land and life a nice peaceful life. I grew up in a boyscout type qroup in my church called royal rangers so i m familiar with the outdoors and that type of lifestyle. I cant wait to get out there, need a few things before i can really get out there but for now i can manage. I live in FL so the cold isnt a problem for now. I really just need a nice power bank and ac and ill be set. Love the videos lots a good information on this channel.
He mentioned a Hemp wood sealer. I found some on Amazon from an independent family business selling there. I need to seal my counter top and pop-up table in my ambulance rv.
A lot of windows are nice to look out and see traffic while driving but the downside is it cuts back on storage space unless you block the windows, you need many curtains for privacy and the the sun out Wesr can heat inside your RV quickly.
Thank you are right that we mostly keep them covered but being able to open up on those chilly windy days and feel like being outside is worth it for us.
I love van. Good ideas on the build. I am curious as what type of auto insurance is needed for it and the cost since it is not a multiple passenger vehicle now.
I’ve noticed many RV people in America using old/reclaimed timbers and house furniture. I’m curious how regulated/enforced GVM weight limits are, with so many using heavy furniture and timbers.
They are not enforced much to our knowledge, but we have very light weight furniture and the beauty of the old wood with tighter grains is that it is stronger that much heavier faster growing wood now. We are less weight than the wheelchair lift and original bus seats.
So you estimate that a few pieces of lumber weight more than a bus full of occupants,(average American adult male weighs 199lbs), seats and electric wheelchairs?😂
Was kinda wondering why you got rid of the Class C for a shuttle bus? Considering the motorhome would of been pretty equipped for living purposes already.
I'm a senior, granted a young one but I could easily live in their shuttle bus. I have a shower in my class b, but I prefer to shower at a park or even a truck stop or gym rather than put a bunch of humidity in to my van.
Depends on the RV park. They all have their own ideas of what an RV is, regulations, rules, etc. I’m in my 4th year full time in my travel trailer & can’t imagine why anyone would want to have a great set up like this & then stay in an RV park.
I'm all for living out of your rig instead of in it, but this is just kinda depressing to look at. I feel like no build/light builds that encourage being out of your rig are much better suited to smaller vehicles than this Like, I've considered looking into cutaway shuttles like this before, but that's because of how spacious they are that they can accommodate dedicated beds, bathrooms and kitchens. To leave all that empty space isn't such a big deal, but for it to look like an empty shuttle instead of a cozy space and not even have a shower seems like a missed opportunity Sorry, I'm not trying to be a negative Nancy. They seem like cool people and the beauty of this lifestyle is you can add exactly what YOU need, so more power to em. I just can't wrap my head around the build- or lack thereof lol
This is why I love self builds! You get so many good ideas and they are so much more charming and sturdy than prefab RVs.

Way to do it. Use what you have. You can always upgrade later. Start now and follow your dreams.

Thank you! We absolutely love hammock sleeping and are adding it to our next project! It allows Duncan-dog to move underneath of us as well.
@@connectionprogression7063 👍 makes me happy for Duncan 😊

My age would not allow this setup. Yet I try to take any tidbit I can for myself. Safe travels!
Same here…. I could do with a smaller kitchen area but I do need a nice bed and a comfy place to sit….
Thank you! This is the beauty of building your own Tiny Home on Wheels, the ability to customize features to suit the lifestyle.

I am excited about the possibility of living in a tiny house..& the experience of mobile living also.
Thank you, Brian for producing this video. I like their efficient use of space and creativity. Thank you again for the tour.
Holes in the floor-Brilliant- something I want to do if ever I do rv life. Excellent cool air circulation!
A wonderful couple! Met them last year at a vegan meet up. Beautiful people! Thanks for the tour!
Texas Tiny Houses! Brad/Darby started the tiny house revolution! The best of the best!!!❤❤❤

WOW,great build. Thank you for sharing your achievements
Y'all have a lot of eclectic items in your bus, but my fav is the man's brown coat. It's very Ojai with that neat trim and length. I want one😊!
Yes I followed that guy doing the tiny old builds and his stuff over the years. Nice job.
Bright and cheerful.🕊🕊🔥🔥
Love the reuse of the old stuff & the wood is beautiful. Nice set up & kitchen can go outside is amazing.
What a nice intelligent couple with a beautiful outlook on life.

Thank you! It all works for us despite being a changing hodgepodge. The colorful bins hold our pantry and we’re from Nate’s kids room.

I think Brian G has such a friendly charm, endearing him to everyone he interviews and to us the viewers.
This interview was great!
Thank you and we agree!
I like that shoe holder spice rack!
Thank you for sharing ✌️💞🤟
Oh to be young and be able to get back up off the floor.
I'm 65 years experienced and can still easily get up off the floor. Yoga helps...
Thank you and yes it does!
I love it ! Thank you for sharing this ❤
Thanks, Brian, for another interesting ‘tour’ and to Nate and Sunshine for sharing. Love that reclaimed woodwork. Happy trails, All.
🙏🏼🐾🎶
Amazing build 🌅
I love the amount of space.
They really do seem like a lovely couple.
Great setup, I appreciate the simple, modular, and more natural build. I also prefer the versatility that a setup like this provides.
I love the shoe rack idea

Hey Sunshine and Nate, good to see you guys again. We met at VanFest. Sorry I didn't make it to Skooliepalooza.
Thank you for sharing this! ❤
Foot pump! Love it! I never knew! It's kind of like a food truck which I love cuz I'm a foodie too!
Love the wooden doors ❤😊
Very cool bus build, they made it fit their needs and lifestyle and that’s all we all are doing too! Love it!
I saw it at RTR. 😊
It was simple and seems to work for them.😊
He mentioned a Hemp wood sealer. I found some on Amazon from an independent family business selling there.
I need to seal my counter top and pop-up table in my ambulance rv.
Very cool ❤
Looks so fun! I do car life and RUclips and hope to travel like y’all someday 😊
Thank you and just do it! This life has been so freeing for us.
Nice rig and setup. Thanks for sharing!
Awesome interview 😊

Hello from Puerto Rico friends
The bus has potential.
Was kinda wondering why you got rid of the Class C for a shuttle bus? Considering the motorhome would of been pretty equipped for living purposes already.
What is the RTR?
I need my shower. Ok for younger people but not seniors sleeping on floor
I'm a senior, granted a young one but I could easily live in their shuttle bus. I have a shower in my class b, but I prefer to shower at a park or even a truck stop or gym rather than put a bunch of humidity in to my van.
We do miss showers but not enough to use the space or extra weight of carrying water. Aquatic centers are amazing ways to get showers as well.
Is that a king size bed
Would something like this be allowed in a r/v park ? Or are those parks for "official" type looking r/v's ?
Depends on the RV park. They all have their own ideas of what an RV is, regulations, rules, etc. I’m in my 4th year full time in my travel trailer & can’t imagine why anyone would want to have a great set up like this & then stay in an RV park.
We don’t know as we have never stayed in one. For us boondocking is the best way to go unless in a large national or state park for multiple days.
❤❤🌹❤
