@@AncientMorbidity1991 Nope...this is pure Sodom/Possessed worship...Dead's affiliation with Mayhem later on doesn't make this a black metal experience...
@@Goryptor You’re confused this is 100% BM! Dead did Black Metal before he was in Mayhem hell he even wore his corpse paint. Morbids December moon album is indeed a BM album plain and simple it’s not hard to understand that especially with the lyric style used. From the dark, Tragic dream, My Dark subconscious etc capture this style perfectly.
Fuck! That must have been the first time I heard death metal, and growls! Still remember that, and my reaction, but didn't remember until now who it was.
AHHHHHRRR! Great upload. I listen it and feel me better a few hours after I have heard that a guy have died. I love people and hate death plus religion and jobs
This sounds more like a "darker Slayer" then what we got on December Moon, maybe if the recording in the studio sounded like THIS, Pelle would've stuck around, and perhaps "Freezing Moon" would've been a Morbid song instead
@@Rahahahaha_bon Cheers, Swedish is just an insane language to understand in spoken form. I'm Czech and have quite a decent command of German and English, have listened to Scandinavian metal since like 98' so I've been exposed to a lot of Swedish and Norwegian in the docs and bootleg stuff...but...I'm completely lost when someone starts speaking Swedish or Norwegian, not even catching bits :D
Dead mentioned Satan in at least one lyric that i can remember with Morbid, so was he trying to incorporate Black Metal more Satanic beliefs into Morbid &they didn't agree with that direction? is that part of why he went looking into MayheM? i've seen somewhere that he wasn't religious but Black Metal is or was supposed to be a religious antithesis of christianity, if he wasn't religious why would he want to be apart of something that was supposed to be. Euronymous said it himself in that swedish interview.
i just remembered L.G. had albums that were very much about Lucifer& those themes but he said it was more story telling, like a sound track for a movie. which would go along with Dead not being religious. what didn't they agree on? people see those things &themes as stories/fairy tales because of the nature of how it's told. but it doesn't make sense why they wouldn't agree on introducing Black Metal or more extreme things into Morbid, that's the reality of those stories & fairytales all of how MayheM ended up with Dead/Euronymous &Varg.

Rip LG Petrov and Pelle they did a lot for the metal scene for sure their influence will never be forgotten long live morbid
kind of contradictory to say long live to anything related to pelle, no? not in a dickhole way because he's actually dead, but because he's Dead.
@@InMemorium2Euronymous I meant the music
@@lordodium3872 still applies. i'm not saying the music should "die" or stop being listened too, i just thought the phrasing was odd considering.
@@InMemorium2Euronymous I think your name and profile picture is odd JK
Well, this is some proper 87' death metal. Perfect. And Pelle? The best growls at the time...

unlikely. Uffe & Lars Goran left to concentrate on Nihilist. it was over by '88. Per wanted to move on as well.
0:09 can anyone understand what Pelle is saying here?
He is saying:
Ok here is the first song that we wrote.
