Ajahn Suputh was my teacher. I miss his teachings. He moved from Wat Mahatdu in Denver and I lost track of him after he left. I'm very happy to have this resource to listen to his most important teaching.
@@ashineindaga5229 Last I heard, he returned to his married life. He had his wife’s permission to enter the Wat for a certain amount of time. He returned to his family and I was told he relocated to California…but I don’t know how to contact him. All my best to you on your path.
One is advised to bring the mind back to observation of the breath instantly if it thinks of anything other than the breath. So, how can insight into anything occur if no thinking is allowed? Thanks.
beautiful teaching, but the background music is not only unnecessary, but rather disturbing an counterproductive for Buddhist practice. Several times I thought there had been a broken water pipe because of the gurgling....:-))
It is impossible to clear our minds, because 1. Where is the mind? 2. Nature of human being is when you see, hear, smell, taste, touch or think the process of organisms in the body working immediately. What we can do is only find out how it's happening, when you know how then you will understand the process of the mind, and realized that the mind is just the activity of the organisms in the body, it is not the heart, or brain, or any object that you can touch or see. So, until you know how it works then you can calm your mind down but never can clear it. When you in the started of a present time the process still working non stop even you are sleeping.
