i love your collection because they're products that you'll actually use and you actually love. and a big plus in my opinion are that they're both high-end and drugstore!
Hiya!! Love the collection, It's really structured and not too crowded, perfect!! I wonder where the cape and brush roll are from. And then I also wondered: did you get schooled in makeup and SPFX makeup?
I also started to be a "cruelty free buyer" if that makes any sense, and I feel so much better now. Knowing that huge brands like Benefit, MAC, MUFE, Revlon, Maybelline, etc test on animals just doesn't make any sense in my head since there are so much more alternatives to that
benefit doesn't test on animals:) I recently double checked cause of how interested I was in there new hula products and on there website they state they don't test:) and I don't think mufe tests :)
what says in their website is not true unfortunately... They sell their products in China, where animal testing is required by law. It's quite sad how they try to fool the consumers just to make money :( and mufe also sells in China, so they do test...
i have no idea what's up with the naked 3 palette. it's so frustrating becuase everyone else talks about how nice it is?!?! and i'm like???? it's not pigmented at all!!! ahah i'm glad i'm not alone on this!
I had the same problem with the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette! My tip is to spray your brush with mac fix+ before dipping it into the shadow. It makes a big difference!
I loved this! I just moved and I'm trying to find new ways to organize everything. I'm living the dressers but the link you posted didn't work. Thanks hun
I've got a question about your face shop liners: how waterproof are they? Do they stay in the waterline? I have super watery eyes so I have a really hard time trying to find liners that don't budge! Also, does that orange liquid liner smudge? What's the wear time like? Thanks for your time!!
+Meghan Poplacean the pencil ones are 'smudge proof' but if I put them in my waterline they tend to fade halfway through the day. The liquid liners on the other had are completely waterproof (obviously you don't want to put them in the waterline though) and I actually find them really hard to get off!!! Definitely worth checking into if you want something extremely long wearing.
Thumbs up from me for going cruelty free. I too started the cruelty trend 2 months ago. There's no excuse for these High End make up companies to test on animals or sell in China where I learned from a Beauty blogger that the animals that dont don't die from make up testing, are killed.
Hi guys, I currently live in the UK and I absolutely love American beauty products like nars and NYX but because of where I live I am unable to buy them without it costing an absolute fortune! I was wondering if you guys knew anywhere I could buy American beauty products in the UK? Thank you guys! Xx
There is a rule of thumb for each. Most makeup will have a number and the letter M on the back that is the number of months before it expires. Usually foundations and concealers last 18 months, lipsticks 18-24 months, eyeliners (depending on pencil or liquid) 3-6 months, mascara 3 months, blush and bronzers 18-24 months
Kat Von D is completely vegan. She has some great pigmented eye shadows and lip colors. The foundation is full coverage its great for all day wear. I highly recommended it
I don't find the containers 😭 if someone can put any link it will be nice ;)🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 (yes I saw the link that Jaklyn put but I didn't find there anything like the containers in the video)
Too Faced is cruelty free, and are one of my favourite brands right now. There is lots of great cruelty free brands (I can't remember all of them right now). I'm slowly moving to cruelty free, but have so much to use up before I can be completely cruelty free.
+Rebecca Jenkins ahh I've heard so many amazing things about Too Faced- I can't believe I've only tried a few of their products. I def will be checking them out when it comes time to buy replacements! :)
a really good cruelty free makeup brand is : younique. My aunt is a representative and they have good quality makeup and they are priced well and I only use that as I hate cruelty makeup Try out younique xx
Patty T true i got it and im pretty sad, i thought the quality will be overwhelming and it sucks (for highend) my essence palette compares to it by pigmentation.... that sucks....
+Jaclyn Forbes its difficult, because nyx is a Brand from loreal and loreal is Testing on animals. You have to decide how u want to handle things like This
I've been seeing you in my recommended and I couldn't remember who you were but I recognised you and then I remembered... You're the girl who met Louis!
most drugstores aren't cruelty free such as maybelline, L'oreal, Rimmel, and MAC isn't cruelty free. My sister found this out just a few months ago and since then we have decided we are not going to use products that aren't cruelty free :)
+Jackie Galdamez Yes, that's what I've been learning. Most drugstore products aren't :( But, Essence products are which is awesome since they are affordable and good quality!
+Jaclyn Forbes I'll try looking for some Essence products some now on! It's really difficult to find makeup that's affordable and good quality, especially when the products you're looking for are cruelty free too.
Too faced, tarts, urban decay, Nyx, and Marc Jacobs beauty (not fragrances) are some well know cruelty free makeup companies, not sure about Charlotte tilbury or nars.
Loreal still tests on animals where required by law, but a lot of their child-brands (ie the Body Shop) refuse to sell their products in China so that they can stay 100% cruelty free.
it doesnt matter, do they test on animals only in China, the fact that they test on animals anywhere makes them a non-cruelty free brand. Same as urban decay isnt fully cruelty free, even tho the products are. Urban Decay is owned by Loreal, and Loreal is not cruelty free.
Kiko and Sleek are cruelty free aswell :) I think NYX is too, but it is a subsidiary from L'Oreal which is not cruelty free.. Here is a list: www.mediapeta.com/peta/PDF/companiesdotest.pdf
Omg thank you for the info on Kiko and sleek! I'm going to London in 6 days and plan on buying stuff while I'm over there but didn't get the chance to look into if they're cruelty free or not
I love how you have a pretty even amount of drugstore and high end products! Also awesome to know your against non cruelty free. Great video!
i love your collection because they're products that you'll actually use and you actually love. and a big plus in my opinion are that they're both high-end and drugstore!
yeah i try to have a nice mix!! thanks for watching :)
Great that you are switching to cruelty free. Sets a really nice example.
I agree. So sweet!
SO HAPPY YOU ARE TRYING TO BE CRUELTY FREE!!! NEW SUBSCRIBER HERE
Hiya!! Love the collection, It's really structured and not too crowded, perfect!! I wonder where the cape and brush roll are from. And then I also wondered: did you get schooled in makeup and SPFX makeup?

+Catarina Sousa exactly :)
benefit doesn't test on animals:) I recently double checked cause of how interested I was in there new hula products and on there website they state they don't test:) and I don't think mufe tests :)
what says in their website is not true unfortunately... They sell their products in China, where animal testing is required by law. It's quite sad how they try to fool the consumers just to make money :( and mufe also sells in China, so they do test...
But you can always check on the PETA website cruelty free brands in case you're confused :)
so their parent company tests on animals, not the actual company itself?
you're everything goals omg 😍 love the video 💓
can you do a review of your essence products? Please, thanks :D
Your makeup collection very nice and beautiful..
I had the same problem with the naked 3 palette. Is it just my palette? Because I know a lot of people love it and say it's pigmented
i have no idea what's up with the naked 3 palette. it's so frustrating becuase everyone else talks about how nice it is?!?! and i'm like???? it's not pigmented at all!!! ahah i'm glad i'm not alone on this!
Julia Johnson did you get it on another site than sephora or urban decay its self? Because if you did, you might have bought a fake one.
fvck.kYlie no I got it right off the shelf at Sephora
Julia Johnson hi
I totally hate my Naked 3 palette. It's not pigmented at all and I never use it...
i love your makeup collection because it's realistic and not overwhelming.

Subscribed immediately because you are a cruelty free buyer! That is sooo important and almost no youtubers realize it. so thank you.

Ultra gel liners are amazing! So maybe that will work as a alternative.

Thumbs up from me for going cruelty free. I too started the cruelty trend 2 months ago. There's no excuse for these High End make up companies to test on animals or sell in China where I learned from a Beauty blogger that the animals that dont don't die from make up testing, are killed.

+Madi Vanity thank you! :) xo
I don't think it is completely vegan. They have a section for the products that are vegan on the website.
Does anyone know where you can purchase Charlotte Tillberry products?
+Julia Giusti Holt Renfrew :)

YOUR CHEEKS ARE THE CUTEST!
I Love your concealer drawer.
a really good cruelty free makeup brand is : younique. My aunt is a representative and they have good quality makeup and they are priced well and I only use that as I hate cruelty makeup

I agree! The naked 3 isn't good
Patty T true i got it and im pretty sad, i thought the quality will be overwhelming and it sucks (for highend) my essence palette compares to it by pigmentation.... that sucks....

+Jaclyn Forbes its difficult, because nyx is a Brand from loreal and loreal is Testing on animals. You have to decide how u want to handle things like This

+superhappy1664 I know lol but thank you. But not all those companies provide cosmetics that I prefer although I do love them all.
Nyx is a really good brand and cruelty free :)
1st!!!! i love you Jaclyn
Too faced, tarts, urban decay, Nyx, and Marc Jacobs beauty (not fragrances) are some well know cruelty free makeup companies, not sure about Charlotte tilbury or nars.
Tarte**
it 's the brilliant one
I don't know where you live but for all the canadians, we have Annabelle and Marcelle who's cruetly-free!
Either Rimmel or maybelline is cruelty free
They are not counted as a cruelty free brand if the parent company is not.
The rimmel London powder packaging is horrible!! I also had to tape mine
I know
is loreal cruelty free?
Nope
yes xx
Loreal still tests on animals where required by law, but a lot of their child-brands (ie the Body Shop) refuse to sell their products in China so that they can stay 100% cruelty free.
mac isnt cruelty free so you might not want to repurchae that gloss for your mom
they are its just in china where the have to test on animals for mac because of their law check on their website
actually they are not cruelty free they are misleading you
it doesnt matter, do they test on animals only in China, the fact that they test on animals anywhere makes them a non-cruelty free brand. Same as urban decay isnt fully cruelty free, even tho the products are. Urban Decay is owned by Loreal, and Loreal is not cruelty free.
Put the inglot one in hot water to make it smooth again I heard
Oh girl, I can bearly watch a zoella video...
She says “cruelty” so weirdly almost like “crulety”
Hey just wanted to let you know that MAC isn't cruelty free
I don't have the Alex9 drawers there's a lot of us don't have the drawers
I'm doing the same things with my makeup. I'm slowing switching it to cruelty free. Not throwing away anything but they will no longer get my money.
Loreal,Mac,Benefit,Rimmel... Test on animals as well.
KAT Von d has good foundation
Goals
nor Mac nor benefit are cruelty free
The Face Shop Lovely ME:EX Milky Tints are actually marketed as lip products :D
i think loreal might test on animals but im not exactly sure!:)
They do. The owner of Loreal wears fur coats too.
They also use animal products in their makeup.
You're Right, they're testing on animals
+LilAcoUlerFreaK Does Makeup For Ever test on animals?
Kiko and Sleek are cruelty free aswell :)
I think NYX is too, but it is a subsidiary from L'Oreal which is not cruelty free..
Here is a list: www.mediapeta.com/peta/PDF/companiesdotest.pdf
Omg thank you for the info on Kiko and sleek! I'm going to London in 6 days and plan on buying stuff while I'm over there but didn't get the chance to look into if they're cruelty free or not
No problem :) I think it is very important to open each others eyes :)
+May Lin I've been buying cruelty free for about a year now and I still look up certain brands just to make sure
Mac isn't cruelty free
Makeup for ever is not crueltyfree
Hot mess !!!
Girl bye you organization is giving me life 💯💯
I'm not sure that Mac is cruelty free. Does anyone know?
Mkmakeup 101 It's not
she has a lot of makeup
i'll happily accept your naked 3 pallette since you dont plan on using it/like it ;)
plz don't use mac they are not cruelty free xx
The PETA website will tell you who is and isn't cruelty free!
mac test on animals xx
liked :)
