I never realised how bloody expensive Christmas shopping is until I had to buy it all. Spend closer to 200 euro's this year just on Christmas decor and another 70 for the Christmas tree. Have got some beautiful things, but not a ton of stuff, Christmas is damn expensive. Our main tradition is something we call gourmet in Holland, it is a type of indoor bbq/grill thing, it is always very nice and festive, it mainly gets taken out of the box for Christmas and New year so it is something we always look forward to.
