I know I've said it before but I really appreciate the effort it takes to get the walking/climbing (and especially driving) shots you get. That shot at 2:45 is spectacular!
10kplus Kudos Emma can definitely see why 🤗A little dramatic Em, sliding down a rock and falling of a cliff and dying 🥴 could have been just, spraining my ankle and breaking arm ,but dying Noooooo you crack me up🤣What a beautiful hike nature can be so stunning 🍁🍀🪴🌳🌼🌺I love the cosy little atmosphere you created writting in your journal .I have my daily Diaries ,its a way you can relive some nice thing and get some baggage of loaded ,if ya know ya know😉.Thankyou for all your very Appreciated hard work and not falling of a cliff and dying🙃 .Stay Safe Stay Alert and most Importantly be Happy in yourself🥰.Sending lots love and Blessings 🙏💞From Me V Aussie Land Down Under God Bless
@8:45 So I have been thinking about your call out to physics majors to explain this. Not a physics major, but I do have a degree in engineering. I believe that as you are heating the water in the kettle, the thermal exchange with the water is keeping the metal at the bottom of the pot much cooler than the metal of the spout. That column of heat is heating not only the bottom, but the spout as well, and as there is no water that high for it to pass its heat onto, it is still hotter than the boiling point of water when you are pouring it. So when the water hits it, it begins to boil again. Perhaps if you placed the kettle off center of the burner, so the spout was farther away from the flame? Or just wait a few minutes before pouring your water? The the metal will cool faster than the water.
Weather is sure changing. Emma get that hike in get out of that in-climate weather, into a warm vehicle, hot food in your belly and find that spot and put on some cozy clothe for the night. Thanks for Sharing...
You are amazing, Emma. Just you being wonderful and adorable you. I love your videos. Your content is so enjoyable, well-edited, and awesomely breathtaking to watch. You are such an inspiration. Best wishes always. 😊❤️😊
You know it’s just so amazing the hidden places that are just the most beautiful places hidden treasure that you find that you don’t see only when we just get out there and look ❤iam 60 years old Emma I have been watching your videos and Rosa is also one I have been watching to an just recently she hiked the pct trail for California to Canada it has inspired me ❤
Grats on 10K! A small tip from Europe: If you buy rechargeable batteries you can charge them in your car. Never buy batteries again and no toxic waste for the environment.
Some of these shots dont even look real. Wow! Incredible images. Was nervous about that seat belt just seconds before you mentioned it. Brilliant. Wonderful hike. 🐦 Your nest has a very, very cozy aesthetic. ❤
It's not just watching you walk up and down those inclines, it's knowing you had to set up or go back for the camera every time. Thanks for the video and safe travels, look forward to the next one.
Love it when the aspens start to turn golden. They're like stubborn little patches of sunshine that refuse to go away when the weather starts to turn dark and grey.
Perfect vibes for that rainy and misty day. So peaceful calm and relaxing. Great way to recover from navigating those rocky slopes! Excellent video Emma!
Emma love watching your videos! They bring such great joy to so many peoples lives. Do you travel in the US or Canada or both? Have you ever thought of a meet and greet with your viewers?
What gorgeous hike and that veiw wow it was beautiful and all tucked away wow an you cozy little place you have with the candle ❤thank you for sharing Emma god bless you my friend be safe out there ❤
5:42 your such a wee adventure duck ,I some times get scared just watching your videos. the big open endless space , and to you doing it all alone , braveness is does not even cover it
Emma just a reminder always tell someone your exact hike in real time and notify them when you return. An injury being soaking wet and falling temperatures could be serious trouble. Alway carry emergency gear in case you need it. Cell phone ok but GPS transmitter better. Lots of organizations in PNW teaches beginner climbing mountaineering classes good luck please stay safe.
Thank you! I always make my loved ones aware of what hikes I’m doing and when. :) I also have a satellite SOS messenger that I carry on my backpack at all times.
Hi Emma ✌🏼. It was a cozy day☕️📖🥣📓🖊That was awesome how it cleared up just for you and us to enjoy the view🏞. I was just wondering why you glued a 🐻 in your journal ? Goodnight Emma, sweet dreams, sweet girl:) ❤✌🏼🙏🏼
Thank you Emma for this video. I love the landscapes you share with us. When you move with this kind of cold fog it is better to breathe more slowly to give the air time to warm up a little. Well, it is not completely possible for all of us, it depends on your ability to use the oxygen from your organs, but if you can it is better.
You do such an amazing job on your videos and the places you take your viewers too. Keep up the good work and stay Beautiful and Strong. Cheyenne. Part time van lifer and professional commercial truck driver...
Dear Emma, you are the bravest person! That climb looked hard! Your video’s are peaceful and calming! I can understand getting away from the hassles of daily life , pull you to the mountains! 😊I hope you find a climbing partner! 😊I don’t know if you want one. Take care and be safe!😊
Hi there:) I like Emma's 15 minutes only because viewers and viewer fans can watch them on their break time at work and have a good day because of Emma's great personality ❤.
It is the time of the year I start celebrating creepy stuff because I love creepy stuff. The other day I pulled Frankenstein from my bookcase to read! Great minds... 😊
Its a lil tough but I do have a tiny dehumidifier ($40 at walmart) and I like to crack the windows at night even when its cold. Condensation is a constant struggle though
I don’t really have room for a lot of overnight provisions but I do carry extra layers, a water filter, extra snacks, a satellite SOS messenger device, an external battery and a GPS map at all times!
@Emma-and-BusBus I have that same awning attached to the roof basket on my truck camper shell, paid a whole whopping $100 for it,at Napa Auto Parts in Geneseo, Illinois
Rain hiking is great 🥳… until you’re soaked thru lol. Have you ever read Phantom of The Opera? It’s not quite as old as Frankenstein but really good too 😃. Watching your video was a great way to start my day
Been loving your videos lately, and congrats on 10k! Would love to collab someday since we’re both in lil minivan campers livin life on the road and sharing our journey on yt! 🥰
That was a dreamy looking lake scene at the summit. It's a shame you had to rush back down. Do you have to hold a camera on descent? Or do you have a 360 camera you could mount up & behind you? It's still getting into the high 80s here (TX), but cool enough at night to sleep without a fan.
I do have a 360 cam but i forgot to bring it this trip :( RIP Finally sleeping without a fan feels like such an achievement lol, another summer survived 🫡
If you continue to climb rocky places like this alone, please consider wearing a helmet. I have witnessed someone slip anf crack thier skull. Be careful plz
The climb was well worth it. Peace and tranquillity at the lake, with an awesome atmosphere and view.
Phenomenal work my friend, your cinematography is so unique and pleasing! Love it!
I know I've said it before but I really appreciate the effort it takes to get the walking/climbing (and especially driving) shots you get. That shot at 2:45 is spectacular!

That lake with the fog was beautiful , thank you .
So enjoy the majestic views you show us so often. Also, glad to see you relaxing and enjoying your solo time. You should sleep very well.

Always such a cool vibe. Glad to see more often uploads 😅 I know it isn't always easy. Would love longer vids too but I'm just being selfish 😂
Most others videos are too long. I always hope for a long one from Emma. So to speak. :)
what’s an ideal video length? Looking for input. My video lengths pretty erratic
@@Emma-and-BusBus 30 minutes would be great but don't be afraid to go longer

Emma, how do you prevent condensation in the van?
Its a lil tough but I do have a tiny dehumidifier ($40 at walmart) and I like to crack the windows at night even when its cold. Condensation is a constant struggle though
Very Very Very Cool 😎 Thumbnail Picture Emma 👍
Really a nice video. Thanks. But in the mountains put something in your backpack to get through the night in an emergency. Please. It's dangerous.

Love your journey & video! Which mountain it is you hiked during the rain? So beautiful
"She was a Fairy" Type opening 😊
Good video!
👍 😎
♥♥
I’m curious, did your van COME with the awning? Or did you have it put on? Pretty awesome that you have one.
I put it on with help from my dad! It was like $80 i think?
I thought that was awesome, too👍🏻
