I haven’t watched a single SRK film for past decade or so because I don’t like the kind of cinema he makes these days. Yet I am one of his biggest fans, not so much of his work but the kind of gracious, humble, detached, giving, courageous, witty, spiritual person that he is.
Jawan is little different and thoroughly enjoyable, you can give it a shot.

I agree with the OP, for the kind of acting talent SRK is, his movies don't do it justice. SRK can be devastating on screen, but the story and direction need to back him up.

I dint watch Fan and I absolutely dint like My Name is Khan. Sorry to say but i felt not only was it a bad film but I thought that even SRK was hamming through out the film.
He tried to experiment but the box office also matters to the actor sometimes. He was being ridiculed for not giving a 300 crore film and now he chose to give 500 crore ones so fair enough.
