I saw Bob Marley and the Wailers played at the Palace Park June 7th 1980 London with my brother Phill and he's mate Ian very good gig and a good day out. The lineup was Bob Marley and the Wailers. The average white band. Joe Jackson band. And the q tips with Paul Young. The tickets were £7.50 each on the door. Me and my brother and Ian were on the left side of the stage where a pond is in front of the stage. I remember concorde came over Palace Park when Bob Marley and the Wailers were on the stage. Nice one one love
I love these live versions, hearing the crowds clapping their hands, feeling the atmosphere, imagine how the japans dance, feeling the ganja clouds everywhere, everything :D almost like i am there for those 6 minutes... BOB IS IMMORTAL
That's reggae very versatile, they can speed it up or slow it down depending on the vibes. A wailing sound like the original music or speed it up into a more modern or fast pace reggae beat.
@rastatalk56 i don t know man ,,, maybe bob and the wailers were in a a slow mood ,,, in 1975 they did same , and other years too ,,, compare live in chicago quiet 75 with reggae schaeffer festival 75 ,, one is so fast , one so slow , but both excellent , all marley concert are different ,, but u right , live in japan were so speed ,, and not this one ,, but still good
@stonechater yes , u right ,,, happy birthday boby !!! i ll share more of this live ,, when i ll have enough time to do it ,,,, i published a so jah seh rare version too
Maybe it´s just because the tape has been played with a different camera than it´s been recorded with. Bought myself a new camera and the instructions tell me this could happen.

right !! i thought same !! here in france ,, people usually clap their hands on the beat . prefer clap on the after beat ! on the skank !
Crowd goes crazy at 3 minutes and hijack the beat. Spiritual, mystical and phenomenal
