This is a major reason why PHL is ideal for tourists. Those places you've checked are for short time that's usually for couples to just have pleasure time with their partner and leave after so that is why it is expensive. Those rooms are not ment for settlers What you need to look for is called rent house or a rent room. Rent rooms cost around 3k to 5k pesos a month

The cockroaches alone were a huge deterrent! You should've told them to bomb the room first then change all the sheets in front of you before settling in for the night. You should visit Rizal. There's a lot of mountain top cafes, delicious food, rich culture. And the art capital of the Philippines. And it's just an hour away from Manila.

Hi Ali! I've been watching a few of your videos. Thanks for showing us how much you enjoy the Philippine Islands. Those kids were really sweet to walk with you all the way to the hotel & were quite intuitive in asking their questions. Speaking of hotel...no way mate would I ever stay at that place! The cockroaches alone were a huge deterrent! You should've told them to bomb the room first then change all the sheets in front of you before settling in for the night. The elderly lady brought tears to my eyes honestly. You're a very generous & kind hearted person for giving more money than you need to. Bless you for doing that & keep up the good work. You're lucky to get to try those filipino breads ... thay're our all time favorites ..honestly those breads from the bakeries in the streets are tastier compared to the ones sold in malls or restaurants. Because they still use the old recipe and simple ingredients that makes the delicious. Nice video. Keep being nice to the locals and you'll earn a lot of good memories.
