It's been years since I've seen this, but I still teared-up, father reuniting with son. Battlestar Galactica is still a shining beacon of what great Sci-Fi should be.
Adama was such a good character. He had the right blend of emotion. He knew when it was okay to show it and he know when he had to bottle it up and put on a face because as military leader you can't just go around being weepy. On top of that he also how to express it.
It is so great to watch these in unison with the end of the series. The flashbacks shown on the show make more sense in fuller context, and I still can't hate season 4. All the answers are there when you binge-watch.✌
At first I thought it meant nothing but then I remembered that question was only asked to her copy from the morgue and it was then when I realized how truly creepy that really was.
@@elementxxrider I always thought it was a callback to Adama's speech from the first episode where he asks "Why are we as a people worth saving?", and that she was throwing that back in his face.
Actually, I think Adama is allowed to ask "why." Your model put itself in a position of trust, attempted to assassinate him, was killed (justifiably) for it, then he sees his killer walking around. Yeah, he gets to ask "why." Forgot to mention this was after the near-destruction of his entire race. Like, yes, he gets to ask why. Because you all seem petty as hell most of the time with flashes of decency until pretty much the end of the series.
Hell no! I'm glad this show is over! Netflix would wokify the hell out of this show and give us one woke scene after the other! All the male and female characters were portrayed AMAZINGLY in this show, and they were all equals. Netflix would do a whole feminist power trip and make all the male characters a bunch of pussies. Glad this show concluded before Netflix came around to touch it. Glad that it is also over cause ABC is pretty woke now too. They would butcher this show as CBS has totally butchered Star Trek Discovery, which I knew was going to be a garbage show when season 1 premiered.
I absolutely loved their father-daughter dynamic, and I was so glad they parted on good terms at the end. He knew her potential, and most of the time when they fought, it was because she was screwing up.
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that the Cylons permanently forfeited any claims they might have had to the moral high ground when they pulled their little "exterminate your entire species" maneuver.
@@DarkNova50 yeah, thats what irked me about them the entire time. the complete inability to see themselves as anything but victims. even when they were entertaining secret police and death row on new caprica they still got upset that the humans didnt wanna play with them. they are so far up their own collective asses.
Nope. They'll revamp the clips. They have to keep up the "All of this has happened before and all of it will happen again" motto. Something I'm perfectly fine with.
@@AdeptKing I love the Stargate franchise especially Stargate SG1. That being said, it can’t match the consistent tension and overall narrative strength of BSG in my opinion. You’re taking to a man that loves Jack, Hammond, Carter and Teal’c.
@@Cx10110100 I consider the pilot mini series it's own season. Partly because of time jump, from the mini series to the episode 33 minutes, where the Cylons are just effing with the last survivors of humanity at this point, pushing them to make mistakes through burn out.

Don't forget daughter reuniting with father. Adama was essentially Kara's father. Which is why she has an I'm sorry daddy look on her face.

Man I really loved this show. I just found all of the DVD’s in my basement. I am going watch the whole thing again!!
I'm putting the fleet back together. I'm putting our family back together.
This ends now

best "OH, HI DAD!" Moment
Gods, I love this frakking show...
Best ever produced by sci fi.
By far one of the creepiest moments in the show . " And you ask why ! " 😳
Kinky, but thats ok

One of the most amazing scenes in the entire show.
Gosh, i loved this series. Wish it was back on Netflix!

And right in that moment, she was just heartbreakingly beautiful.
This show was the best.....

Such a great scene...
Ironic, I got an ad for peacock when I clicked on this clip 😂

Did anyone catched at 1:37 that Lee has major rank pips instead of cpt? Cpt has 2 extended chevrons over the base plate on each side. Major has 3. :)
Roslin was so cold when she said “commander” then she saw billy and softened up
Billy was effectively the son she never had.
I taught you everything you know. but not everything I know!

Anyone else still waiting for a sci-if show to measure up to BSG?
Nope, it exists. The Expanse.
@@tecknogyk maybe
@@tecknogyk If not, it’s close. Certainly not “better” but of a quality that Battlestar Galactica came from.
Stargate?

It sucks that we only got five seasons.
It's really not. It would've spiral down in quality eventually
Best tv shows are often not that dragged out.
Bsg.
Chernobyl.
5?
