The Question in today’s Gospel reading is “Who do you say I Am” (Jesus). To me, firstly this question was only an answer to His Declaration of calling me ‘His Child’, His Beloved. Like Fr Mike said “Jesus is a bad salesman” and seems true… for Jesus ‘One is greater than Ninety Nine’. Jesus is more concerned about MY response to His declaration. Am I willing to call Him “My Lord and My God”. Just like, when a boy and a girl are truly in love… if one says “I love you” he/she expects a response to the same that solidifies/validates that personal and intimate relationship.
I grew up Baptist, but I went through a small catechism. Does that exist in the Catholic Church and can I do that on my own or does it have to be done through a priest question

I am newly Catholic and disabled in many ways- I can't figure out what works I may do.
There are "corporal" works of mercy and "spiritual " works of mercy. These are a good start (lists) to contemplate your own walk.
Pray for others or souls in purgatory or you could try to comfort suffering people online or evangelize online.
