I met Anthony pre show at their Dallas on letting go anniversary tour show when he just walked into the front of the venue like a waiter showing up for work at a restaurant lol. Such a ferocious show. Great memory!
First 2 albums are very grim and beautiful, but I agree with you that On Letting Go is a particularly captivating album. Haunting, tragic, hopeful, optimistic, all in one, what a ride!
My fav album of all time is JUTURNA. I had the blessing of seeing the anniversary set of that tour. I cried like a baby, sang every song, and feel so blessed. But… On Letting Go hit me different, and this song was unreal to my soul
@@froydian9185 definitely heroin lol Performing on psychedelics is not something that is very easy. I'm a recovering heroin addict/Musician and having performed on many different substances heroin is definitely what's up here. All the suddle nuance's, the major sweating, and his eyes.
@@zackdunn5315 I’ve performed on psychedelics and it is definitely manageable and doable. In fact, if you take a dose that is not heroic, let’s say 150ug or 2grams of mushrooms, it can be very beneficial to your stage presence and the unfolding of the performance. Each person is different. And well, heroin? Yuck.
It’s not really about the drugs “ How do I act like I've made this When I, when I, when I So obviously had another hand” “Did he who made the lamb make thee” “What happens when we reach for eachother” “Now dance with me for ill be leaving soon”

This was when he was on heroin.. He's since then been sober for 3 years now
He was definitely on LSD or some psychedelic and not heroin in this concert.
