@@mariobacolodI haven’t forgotten about the Loboc Children’s Choir. All the choirs I’ve mentioned if you read my original comment all won the GRAND PRIZE in international competitions in 2024. I actually just named few of our international winners this year. If I included all the Filipino choirs that won the GRAND PRIZE since the 90’s like LCC, it would be a very long list. I might name around 300 Pinoy Choirs.
I know you've been reacting to some of the famous choirs in the Philippines and I'm glad you've been discovering more and more of these gems. Choral groups are really huge here. Aside from church choirs, choral groups start as soon as kindergarten and until college; and even as you enter the corporate scene, there would still be company choirs. Did you know that there are lots of Filipino song used in international competitions? The arrangements made to fit choral songs made them a hit for foreign choirs as well, like Paro-parong Bukid, etc.

Its worth checking out Philippine Madrigal Singers. They won European Grand Prix for choral singing twice. The first from Asia to do so . This was against the best in the world. Check their piece We Beheld Once Again The Stars. The best😊

My sister was a member of the Phil Madrigal Singers back in the day and their only "real" alto (you can throw a rock in the Philippines and it will land on a soprano, a tenor, a baritone, and even a bass but good luck finding an alto--also please don't throw rocks at people, they get mad). This was her part when they sing this song. I love this arrangement.
