    We are so lucky to have the north shore. Some of the most beautiful terrain in the US.

    Caught my first steelhead last year before the falls on the east branch on the split rock. It was amazing! Cool seeing a local river. Great video.
    Haven't fished Gooseberry yet though. Next year maybe. Didn't have enough time to go out this year. Fished that pool you were at by the "cliffs". They were jumping like crazy there around mothers day but no luck.

    Great video thanks for bringing me back about 20 years our fishing clan all had steelhead fever and being teens and boatless we crawled around those goat paths even caught afew once came across butch furtman glad to see you showcase this area and these fish like he did my girlfriend also likes your show so I'm gonna blame you guys for my new waders and 9ft rods - thanks

    While its great to see your enthusiasm and these spots (some of which I recognize) I'm so scared that the message of conservation and catch and release doesn't resonate with people watching the great outdoors from the comfort of their computers. Please practice catch and release and keep the fish wet. sometimes getting that photo has them out of the water for such a long time. Enjoy this wonderful wild population as it grows and expands all over Superior.
