There's not gonna be another great actor like Donald Pleasence. He was the best actor of the Halloween franchise. R.I.P to George P Wilbur who played him the best. Also R.I.P to Mitchell Ryan.
They weren't going to do a sequel to it sadly, they were doing a direct to video film called Halloween: Two Faces of Evil. It was basically a earlier version of H20 but without Laurie Strode/Jamie Lee Curtis. It involved a killer helping detectives to track down Michael Myers (like Hannibal Lecter) at a all girls school, and one of the girls at the school is revealed to be a relative of Michael. Something like that.
I don't really get how certain things "mess it up" so bad that fans seem so disenchanted with certain chapters of the Halloween Franchise. It's not like they put Bugs Bunny in there as Michael's conqueror, or turned Michael into a dancer.
I do too, and I'm 40yrs old. Like legit wake up sweating and excited. Long time fan! of the Halloween series, since the early 80s. I watch at least 1 of the movies once or twice a week, even part 3!
Definitely Busta Rhymes. H8 is one of the worst, if not H2 (2009) or H5 taking the place. H6 is very underrated and Joe doesn't deserve the shit he gets.
They really messed up by not releasing the Producers cut version or the original scripted version and continuing the planned sequels from there instead of messing it up which then led to h20 which ruined the series and it has became worse and worse ever since! Daniel Farrands should have been able to do what ever he wanted instead of letting Joe Chappel mess it up!

This was the last film for Donald Plescence plus he was in Kurt Russell’s movie Escape From New York (Another film by John Carpenter)
Donald was also in Prince of Darkness another Carpenter movie in 1987.
He was gonna be in Escape From LA but unfortunately his health was declined.
