what a great video - thanks! You missed demonstrating swapping out the regular-8 and super-8 apertures, and how to set up the film to auto-rewind by notching the tail leader of the film (which are all unique to this machine), but you DID show the manual-rewind process, which I could find nowhere else. Anyway, what a cool machine! I am however a little spooked by the unseen take-up reel - what if the film doesn't engage correctly as it goes in, and gets ingested into the machine, becoming a crumpled ball by the end of the screening? I hope there's a failsafe to prevent this.

I noticed that there appears to be only one claw responsible for advancing the film in my Canon S-2. I am curious if this is a standard feature for this model or if it's possible that one of the claws may have been damaged or chipped?

Came here to see how one worked after seeing one for sale on eBay. :)

something else - did you adjust the speed of the film to sync with the video camera before you shot this? I notice there's no flickering of the projected image.

I noticed a ton of flicker, so he prob didn't - I own 5 of these - they are cute and good little units but nothing like the S400 which is my go to - never had a prob with the internal take up reel with film jamming...

I kinda hate this projector. It’s not a good loading and film should be kept straight especially skinny film. And also the clunking sound

I have 5 of these and it was an interesting design... but this one needs some TLC
