Respawn "We are removing Linux from the apex legends due to bad cheats" Meanwhile Windows is probably the leading issue. They should remove windows from the list and watch the cheats drop off lol.
Majority of players are on console, most cheaters are on console. They're also not detectable. People don't like admitting it because it's compromised systems once thought to be impenetrable. PC is compromised because of straight up bad coding/servers on Respawns end. Their security is dog shit. I doubt a fraction of a percent of Linux users cheated. Fuck, most of them were guys fucking around on Steamdeck.

I've played ranked this and last season and I've not met a single blatant cheater yet
@6apahmc606 we can agree to disagree mate. The amount of effort required to run things on Linux would have been far less attractive to the cheating Player base. Why would people go out of there way to install Linux for cheating on one game. Windows is a far more accessible place to to run it.

Streamer exposure does nothing to either promote or combat that, as there are whole boosting websites making upwards of millions to this day. Educate yourself before you make blanket accusations.
