Well, at least Josh got that 1 little pack of Oreos. Lol... Tell the girls they need to bake Josh some cookies so he knows that he is loved...lol... Josh, I am trying hard to help you, brother. All kidding aside, another handy food haul. Great items.
I will let them know to bake him some cookies. 😉 He can't be the only one with a sweet tooth. LOL, It was a good little haul with some useful items. Thank you.
Good haul. But please correct me if I'm wrong ~ did they not give you some form of milk such as evaporated or refrigerated box milk? Usually they give one or two containers which kids gobble up immediately.
@@merccadoosis8847thank you. I don’t always get milk from my pantry. Sometimes we do get shelf stable almond and oat milk, and even sometimes 1%milk. We’ve even gotten the refrigerated milk before but not this time. It’s ok though.
Hey, Thank you, he is doing good... He is a little mad at me because I started kenneling him when I leave. I had stopped putting him in the kennel when I leave as he was being a good boy... But..... last week he decided it would be a great idea to stand up on the counter and eat some raw meat that I had thawing out for dinner.... so he had to get kenneled again.
hmmm... never thought about that. I wonder if it would have the same flavor profile. thank you for sharing that with me. I may have to give it a try some time.
Food banks and food pantries are for anyone who can utilize them and are in need of the help. The one I attend on Sunday evenings specifically states that the main people that they aim to help are the working poor, those of us that we make too much to qualify for government assistance yet we don't make enough to survive. They aren't a supermarket at all, it's not as if they carry and have everything that you will need to feed your family on solely. We still have to budget to get the items still needed. It does help out a ton though and allows us and many others to eat nutritious meals as well as saving thousands of pounds of food from going to the landfills.
@@MamaToAll Excellent reply. These programs (like the SNAP or food stamp program) help stimulate the economy and allows farmers to flourish. They save society much money making it healthier while adding so much more vitality . I personally know several seniors on fixed income who benefit in that it helps stretch the dollars from their very limited resources. Keep up the good work!
@@marlabuckley2378 no my daughter isn’t married. When she found out she was pregnant before losing the baby I allowed her boyfriend to move in. I did not make him move out after they lost the baby.
The problem I have with going to food pantries in my area even church sponsored one's they give out expired or outdated food and I am not going to risk my health to save a few dollars. Your places you go seem to give out good food .
My apologies, but did you say five people in your family? I thought you had two daughters.. I'm sorry maybe I missed something along the way. Sometimes I do housework while I'm listening.
@@marykoufalis7666 you heard correct, I have had 5 in the house since October. When my daughter found out she was pregnant before losing the baby I allowed her boyfriend to move in and even after the loss of the baby I did not make him move out. So until they save up enough to move out on their own we are a household of 5.
Awesome haul!!!❤❤❤

We boil green bananas and when fork tender you can put stewed eggplant on top. Delicious 🤤
Wow, I've never heard of that, thank you for the suggestion! I will have to give it a try.
Make chedder broccoli soup. Yummy
Yes!!!! Broccoli cheddar soup sounds yummy!!!
Hey Amber
Hello
You are a bless person 🙏 glad you able to help others
Thank you. It is really such a blessing to be able to help each other!
Saw someone use the single serve $.49 Funyuns instead of paying for the French's onions. Super cheap substitution.

I see a food bank for the desperate not a supermarket
