Most of the problem comes from the lyrics "Women are equation, men do it", people understand it like women are just objects to men to have sex with, but it's a bad translation. In fact, they say that women are complex like an equation and men have to understand them to please them.
To be honest I am a 60 year old woman and I don't see why this song was so controversy. The boys were only speaking truth about how women make them feel, puberty.
Yep 49 here and the music I grew up listening to in the 80's and early 90's...😅 I heard L. L. Cool J on the radio a few days ago and he said some of the wildest stuff back in the day! And I used to listen to it all the time. It just wasn't that deep.
I honestly love this song, and the MV is hilarious and so good. The whole ‘controversy’ was nothing but a manufactured beat-up. In fact, in both the song and the MV the woman is holding all the power.
I, as a western woman, have absolutely no problem with this song whatsoever. I think it's simply a question of haters gonna hate. It's clear, to me at least, that it's meant to be a funny, ironic look into the mind of a typical teenage boy. The entire video just ooses of it imo. But if you think this was fun, check out the ICONIC Real War Version dance practice for it. *THIS* is why we love them so much: They're not only insanely talented but they're also funny AF and not afraid to show their silly side. It's part of what makes them so relatable. 😂 💜
This was the song that people think is misoginistic, when is not true at all....they were teenagers talking about the hormones going wild because of girls
This was the song that got them misogyny claims. Basically antis and I think some lyric videos mistranslated part of the lyrics and it came off kinda bad. Like still not as bad as anything else in Kpop or western music but it did make that part of the song seem a bit bad. But it was a mistranslation that haters blew up and turned into a huge controversy against BTS.
@@Karameida yeah and made RM apologize and now the song is a lost gem that hopefully they might dust off in their new chapter, but I have lost hope of them performing it again
7:49 there's Jin... You should check Dimple/ Pied Piper (live) There was clearly an evolution there comparing to War of hormone lol. Pied Piper is a song for Army, it's sexy asf (my personal opinion) lol. Thanks for your reaction, always delightful to watch.
Yeah, the songs literally what it says it's about. I never saw it as objectifying women or looking down on women, like they did nothing but compliment and praise us the whole time. Teenage years and hormones are a hell of a time though. I've never met anyone who hasn't thought of their teenage years and just cringed or facepalmed at some of the things they did or ways they thought or even the confusion they went through during all that. The awkwardness of noticing an attraction to someone else, how to handle that, embarrassment, uncertainty, the physical changes to your own body and the confusion that comes with that. Kinda being treated as more of an adult but still absolutely treated like a child, the desire to pull away from being treated like a child. Just. A hell of a time. But I think this song kinda expressed that well in as respectful way as possible. Because I kinda know from experience in middle school and high school, those hormones and stuff have far more explicit thoughts than what they portrayed here.
I feel you and I love that song too. I would just say: The answer song to this was 21th century girl and also a good and fun song. Thanks for your reaction 🤗
bro this was one of the first songs I listened to when discovering BTS and I absolutely loved it! I didn't find a problem with it then, and neither do I now. They were younger men & also not as bad compared to American music at times.
You are doing great in identifying the guys, except the one you thought was Jin is J-Hope. Jin is a vocalist and J-Hope is a rapper who sings in a few songs. Kind of like JK raps in some songs. I’m so happy you like this. I think it is adorable and exactly what the title says. 😊 JK has been my bias since the very first time I saw him… “Run BTS” dance practice and then “ON Kinetic Manifesto”, but you can’t help but love and appreciate all seven! Did you say you are from Hispanic heritage? You might enjoy “Airplane pt. 2”. For JK, Ida S has really good video that focus on him. “Jung Kook the Main Vocalist of BTS”, “Jung Kook the Golden Maknae” and the 2021 / 2022 rewind videos are good.
This song straight up slaps! I think, IMHO, that "Boy in Luv" (not to be confused with "Boy With Luv") is more problematic, especially the MV. But, as you said, both of these songs are pretty emblematic of this time of life. :)
I love the song and video! Also, there was this youth pastor who watched this and said it’s talking about teen men’s hormones. The boys are being honest saying that at that age, their hormones make them think nothing but girls, etc. people may not like it but that’s the truth, it’s science. it’s really a confession of their thoughts and nothing about disrespecting women. And I so agree!!!!
I really enjoy watching your reactions as a new BTS ARMY. I would like to recommend the live BTS performance at the 2019 MMA Awards. BTS has a way of turning an award show into their very own concert. A must see and I believe you will absolutely love it! May I also suggest Hobipalooza. Jhope broke quite a few Lollapalooza records that night and your chance to see Jhope in a very different light. I look forward to watching you go through this BTS journey!
We call this one "The forbidden one", in fact I've never read an army saying they don't like it. Unfortunately they don't present this song anymore, I think it's a shame, because I don't see anything special in the lyrics. This outfit of Jimin is still amazing today, as he has a big butt, he looks so beautiful. Speaking of Jimin, when are you going to do reactions to the most played song in the world this week, WHO - JIMIN?
AAAHH!! I can't believe you reacted to this song!! This was the song that really started my kpop addiction all those years ago. I did already like their music when they just had their debut but since it was "uncool" I tried to hide it
My first post to you, you totallyneed to see the Halloween dance practice of this song. Wait untill October if you want but you have to watch it cause you will love it so much and laugh so hard. Plus the costumes!😂 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜+💜
I love this song! I don’t get the hate towards it. This song perfectly describes how young males feel towards girls. The name just says it War of hormone.
@6:53, that's J-hope peachy! J-hope is a part of the rap line, and sings on occasion as well! Jin never did rap in bts, you must be mistaking him for jungkook maybe? he's the only one who sings now and rapped in the earlier years which he did, he was the verse after RM asking girls to wear high heels.
This song is hilarious, lol. I absolutely don't think it was ever meant to be taken seriously...it was a very facetious commentary on teenage boys, lol.
Hey Peachy! :) Welcome to the BTS rabbit hole! Just started watching your videos so far and I binge-watched your reactions to BTS LOL I love your energy and how you're open, respectful, and appreciative of what you're finding out about the group and ARMY. Over time, the synergy between both will be really easy to understand, and I think you already have a good idea of how the love between BTS and ARMYS goes both ways, continuously, over the years. :) (and also, if you already appreciate BTS and love their music and personalities, you can definitely call yourself ARMY, if not a baby ARMY! Everyone's welcome! :D) One suggestion on how you can know the members better is to watch the members' solo songs so you can get to know their voices and faces better hehe one other option for you to try out is to watch an MV and check if there is an explanation video to it or a behind-the-scenes, if there's a choreography/dance practice video, and also if the song has a live version. :D BTS always sound much better live since you can really hear their voices and how they do little tweaks to certain sections so that it sounds better and much more complex. Here are some solo songs I'd recommend for you to check out: - RM/Namjoon/Joon - Wildflower (from his solo album released Dec. 2022); Joke (solid rap song from earlier on); and Nuts (from his most recent solo album) - Jin - Epiphany; Awake; The Astronaut - Suga/Yoongi/AgustD - Daechwita; Haegeum (from his newly released album this 2023) - J-hope/Hobi/Hoseok - Arson (from his solo album released July 2022); Chicken Noodle Soup (featuring Becky G.); On the Street (featuring J. Cole) - Jimin - Who (from his latest solo album released July 2024); Set Me Free Pt.2 (from his solo album released last year); Filter (the one where he's wearing the maroon suit in the thumbnail); - Serendipity (where he's wearing a half-white, half-black button-down shirt in the thumbnail) - V/Taehyung - his solo TinyDesk Korea concert where he featured a few of his songs on his solo album released last year; Singularity (look for the one that has "Stage Mix" in the title so you'll get different looks and intros hehe); Stigma - JK/Jungkook - Euphoria (for the live version, choose the one with "ENG SUB" since other videos don't have closed captions); My Time (either of the available versions from the online concert or the stage mix is great); Hate You (visualizer version) Rap line (RM, Suga, J-hope) - Cypher Medley (there are 4 of them so far but this shows them in snippets) Vocal Line (Jin, Jimin, V, JK) - Truth Untold; House of Cards Group: the BTS medley in Osaka is one of the best live performances, aside from their musical performances on the awards shows for MAMA or MMA :) EXTRA: Please find time to look into J-hope's Lollapalooza performances in Chicago where he headlined. It's certainly a ride and those who's never heard of BTS before became a fan when they watched J-hope perform live! :D They also had their most recent concert last October 2022 in Busan, South Korea and their official channel BangtanTV has videos of their songs there. As far as the entire group is concerned, don't miss out on the songs "Run BTS" (1. watch the Yet to Come in Busan Concert version first, then 2. watch the practice video); "Fix You" (their cover for the Coldplay song - they eventually collaborated with Coldplay on the song "My Universe" which also a must-see!); "Your Eyes Tell" and "Film Out" (Japanese songs but incredible stage presence, vocals and rap from the members!)
I love this song so much, and i agree with what you said about it. It was just them being teenagers or early twenties talking their feelings. V ( Taehyung) was the one who smacked Jimin's butt and later in the vid he hits Jungkook's butt. After suga was also jhope not Jin but that's ok when i first got into BTS i couldn't pinpoint which one was jungkook and whci one was V and i couldn't even say Jimin's cerrectly😂
I do feel like we have to look at cultural differences too. The group g-idle had a “controversy” recently because they wore bathing suits in their music video. As an American it’s got a very slight tinge of misogynistic energy, but way less than any American rapper of any era, talking about “girls” he’s been with.
It’s a part of baby ARMY life that you have at least one mixup of BTS members. Everyone has someone different. You mixed up Jin & j-hope (you called him Jin but it was j-hope rapping on screen). For me it was Jung Kook and j-hope. Not because they’re that similar but a guide I watched as baby ARMY described each of their roles in the team. And maybe I remembered it wrong but in my early baby ARMY days I often confused Jung Kook and j-hope. As for War of Hormone I loved the song & MV immediately. It was only later I learnt that some people complained about it being misogynistic. I didn’t take it that way. I do feel that the majority of clapback & hate wasn’t coming from ARMYs though as most, if not all of us, know the BTS member’s hearts and minds do not regard women in a negative way.
I love this song and as a woman who survived marriage to a true misogynist, I kinda resent them using that word to describe this 'normal' or 'sexist' teenage behavior. Anyway, I have always thought the song that got the bad rap back then was 'Boy in Love' which showed some negative physical behavior towards a girl and that's why they made 'Boy With Love'. I heard Jin ended up apologizing to the young lady, but the choreographers should never have put him in that position in the first place. Loved your reaction so I've subscribed. Borahae, ARMY grandma
@@marinal. I think unfortunately the translation caused a lot of the problem. When they did it in front of Korean fans they didn’t seem to have any issues. So, I have always wondered if the haters were English speaking and deliberately took it out of context. Nothing really wrong with the other. However, the actual correct translation is not a problem at all. Also knowing Namjoon and his brain the solving makes more sense.
There is a very obvious unserious undertone to both the MV and the song so I don't know why people were so pressed about it (especially back then). The song is literally called 'War of Hormones', haha. It's honest and slightly mocking The song is really fun and good 💜 And it was Hobi rapping not Jin 😊
Its hilarious seeing your videos say Jinkook bias. And then here you were so baby Army calling Hobi Jin and saying you forgot Jin was such a good rapper. Bahahahaha. I love it.
I just find the song cute, nothing controversial at all, and holds true to teenagers and hormones just as it implies.. You have Jin and Jhope mixed up. Jhope rapper, Jin is a vocalist.
Peachy, you'll need to watch "Jin being so done with BTS & scolding them for 14min straight | no one can argue with Jin" by SugArmyy to see why it's funny you mistook Jin for J-Hope. I don't see the problem with the lyrics. It's from the perspective of a teenage boy, and like you said, a lot of it is complimenting girls. But as part of that controversy, all HYBE artists receive sensitivity training.
So about the "m-i-s-o-g-y-n-i-s-t" lyrics & the controversy...let me clear the misunderstanding k-popies & some ARMYs hv..this was blown out of proportion by h@ters & Antis to create drama that time, which worked cuz k-popies & media latched on it... *This is going to long a$$ comment* Let's be real, War of Hormones wasn't misogynistic. It was just an honest song about what guys in that age range go through. They were straight up saying that they struggle with their hormones when they see a pretty girl, *and guess what? That's just being honest.* 👁️👄👁️ The title itself gives a clear idea to how they see it. A war. An internal conflict. And it's true to what guys in their late teens and early 20s go through. Bangtan has always been about talking about their experiences and being a voice of people their age. The entire album, Dark & Wild, was really just about the turmoils of young adulthood. In the title of the album too, you can already tell what the sentiment was going to be. The first 3 albums spoke about school and issues of teens. And then from there, the darker days of coming to terms with adulthood. And then the HYYH series. Everything was thematic with stories they wanted to tell as they go through life. Antis and fans of other groups were just grasping at straws to find something to shit on and unfortunately the media picked up on it and then some ARMY took it as truth and they themselves started talking as if the song was offensive. It isn't. We need to stop spreading this story as if BTS were misogynistic boys who needed to learn a lesson. Yes, Namjoon has learned a lot from the experience and has gone out of his way to speak to experts in women's studies, but I'm sure that whole ordeal also caused him unnecessary pain. *Now, My personal take on this:* I don't see anything wrong with the lyrics of the song. All boys go through puberty and the things BTS sung in this are just reflective of their experience going through that phase in their lives. This is the reason I love them and their songs.. they didn't hide anything and covered all the feelings/thoughts of a person who is in his/her adolescent...one can see them growing up from then till today…I personally don't find the lyrics offensive and “most” Armys as well..as I agree they are expressing the struggles of dealing with hormonal changes in adolescence, and I'm sorry but sexual attraction is the number one pressing issue in most hormonal teens regardless of gender. There's a couple of issues I take with people who found this offensive. First, the double standard. You can't tell me young women were purely innocent in their thoughts and feelings as they watched these young men dance and sing, they just didn't make a song about it, at least not publicly. Secondly, the entire concept BigHit wanted from BTS is a representation of the youth culture and the issues youth deal with as seen and heard through the lyrics and music of BTS, and of course everyone has or will experience sexual attraction. Yes, they refer to see through clothing and high heels etc, but I've seen hundreds of posts referring to JK's abs, Jimin's body rolls and shoulder "accidents" Tae's tongue...you get the idea, and while many comments aren't necessarily teens it's not a problem. There can only be an issue if the lyrics were implying that I'm only attracted to girls who wear heels and sheer clothing, not sneakers and sweats. Anyone who has experienced adolescence knows however that if they're sexually attracted to someone the person could easily walk around in a potato sack and an adolescent would still be entranced. A lot of people were offended by that line, "Girls are equations and us men just do them". Personally, I took it as "do them" meant they were puzzles to be solved, not a sexual act. RM was honestly shocked that people were offended by the lyrics and that they could be considered misogynistic. It was definitely a learning experience for him. He apologized and has since run his lyrics through a few professionals in women's studies before releasing a new song. They don't really release songs like this any more. *But to that a korean Army said translation in English were a bit off, which lead to misunderstandings and explained it saying : “I was kinda surprised it's translation was "do" because that part "do them" CAN actually sound offensive to some people, because the meaning of that word 'do' is not clear. However I can clearly say that it's not meant that way, and Korean version lyrics tell that. Words are more specific, and not controversial in Korean version lyrics, because it doesn't say 'do. That part in Korean is 여자들은 방정식 우리 남자들은 해 which says we men are 해 is a word for mathematics, and it means the 'answer/the final number'. So it means they solve. the complex minds of the girls. 해 DOES have the meaning of 'do' too, but its not appropriate to translate this part of the lyrics that way, because if u say it means "do them, it doesn't fit the sentence there. Since there's no Objectives for that Verb 'do' and that's... kinda awkward. plus. the context and meaning of the whole sentence is talking abt mathematics and Equations so what u said is true. It doesn't mean sexual way”* it's freaking mistranslation, if you don't belive me ask any korean, not only k-army but any Korean.. it was done to sabotage BTS's career..💀 BTS hv made few mistakes unknowingly early in their career and said things which can be considered offensive, as they were young but they hv re-educated themselves, apologized and never repeated the mistakes again..but I hv seen many k-popies and so called Multi Armys twisting many things because of that..take for example this song.. it's blown out of the proportion just to cause drama..and they were sadly successful in that..haters/antis tried every lil thing to bring BTS down & sabotage their career ngl..
Someone else already pointed out that the equation line, which I think is the one people (international fans) were most bothered by, is actually only bad in the english translations. Should be more like 'women are like equations, men try to figure them out'. No sexual connotation like the translation 'men just do them' implies. The 'objectification' of women in this song is pretty tongue in cheek. Really it's hormone-crazy teenage boys that they're poking fun of. BUT! I do think there were some questionable lyrics in other songs from this era. nothing too bad, but stuff like 'you know her refusals and bad words could never stop me' gets a bit of an eyebrow raise from me. Like... dude if she's not into you just move on lol, so while I think the fuss people made was over the top, I do think it's a good and commendable thing that they took the criticism and learned from it/considered women's feelings more. Especially considering the rising anti-feminism sentiment in south korea in recent years.
Also you mixing up Jhope and Jin gave me a good laugh. There's a fandom joke that Jin is the fourth rapline member when he's mad. There's some great compilations out there of him speaking a mile a minute when he's shooting off. But when he actually tries to rap...... lol
Hi Peachy 💜 I got a little bit confused when you called J-Hope Jin but it's okay 😅 If you want to know more about BTS member's personalities, you can watch funny and cute compilation videos on RUclips I don't mention any video because there're too many of these but you will find some cool ones Also to know more and better about the BTS journey, you can watch the video The Bangtan 7: a beautiful life goes on by Rize Squad (🚨 Make sure you watch the latest updated one, accurate as 2023 I think) You can watch videos from the channel Boracity magazine too. I'm warning you that she doesn't hold back in her essays but she's always explaining why she says things and she has always recipes and proofs of what she says so don't worry Have a good day/night 💜
The reason it was misogynistic is the lyrics are very much objectifying women. That being said I think we, especially in the west, are okay with the lyrics more because of it wasn’t hard & raunchy objectification like we have heard so much of in western music. Personally I love this song because it is very funny & cringe at the same time & it’s very accurate as to that battle with hormones. Side note: I’m really enjoying your energy & vibes. It’s so much fun watching you enjoy the music. Also I love your makeup it is always amazing.
Hi, I am back. Good reaction, ty. Jimin bias, Suga wrecker and OT7. BTS and staff are very good in making catchy songs. Sadly they don't perform this one no more. It got too much controversy when it came out. The MV makes me blush bad so I try to avoid watching it. =0p And who else but RM / BTS goes and hires feminist's professors to check song lyrics. I mean come on!!! Respect! War of Hormone has some mild lyrics regarding teenage boys reactions/feelings towards girls and that set off a storm with the haters. Since then they have never sang 'love songs' like those in the West! Jhope is the one rapping not Jin. V was the one slapping Jimin's and JKs butts. lol. The baritone vocal here is V. Love this song. They have a no skip discography honestly. Hugs. -2019 Army NY USA💜 @gwenpride5631 said on 5/31/23 The song that was allegedly misogynistic was War of Hormone. It is satire about teenage boys battling their hormones. It isn't misogynistic at all, and a lot of what people wanted to say was misogyny, was because of mistranslation. Also, a lot of it was just people grasping at straws to try and stop BTS from succeeding. @doradokarlal.3275 said on 2/17/24 And the crazy part is apparently the misogynistic lyrics were "Women are gifts" which I know could be objectifying but they were boys at that time & didn't know it could be taken the wrong way, they obviously didn't mean any harm, and the title of the song was literally WAR OF HORMONES. So it's about boys going through puberty. The lyrics weren't even about hating women. Crazy how you say they're gifts & suddenly became offended hahhahhaa I'm pretty sure, it puzzled RM at that time. But the crazy thing about when they apologize is their changed behavior. They mean it when they say sorry. That's why seeing their development as human was fascinating.
Honestly they went to though so much shit his song is not my favorite but that is not but that is not because of any stupid so called misogynist lyrics I mean like seriously Korea? Remember the Korean age system. Jungkook was actually 16 years old.
Technically he was 17 and I know this because I'm a month older than him and I was 17 at the time😊👍

Been loving all the bts content! Glad to be witnessing your journey!!(also looking forward to more Straykids reactions haha☺️)
I thought the forbidden one was Expensive Girl 😂😂😂
Jin never did rap in bts, you must be mistaking him for jungkook maybe? he's the only one who sings now and rapped in the earlier years which he did, he was the verse after RM asking girls to wear high heels.
it's everytime jhope poor jhope
This song is hilarious, lol. I absolutely don't think it was ever meant to be taken seriously...it was a very facetious commentary on teenage boys, lol.
💜 please reaction to bts mma 2019 performance
She might want to know some more songs first.
One suggestion on how you can know the members better is to watch the members' solo songs so you can get to know their voices and faces better hehe one other option for you to try out is to watch an MV and check if there is an explanation video to it or a behind-the-scenes, if there's a choreography/dance practice video, and also if the song has a live version. :D BTS always sound much better live since you can really hear their voices and how they do little tweaks to certain sections so that it sounds better and much more complex.
Here are some solo songs I'd recommend for you to check out:
- RM/Namjoon/Joon - Wildflower (from his solo album released Dec. 2022); Joke (solid rap song from earlier on); and Nuts (from his most recent solo album)
- Jin - Epiphany; Awake; The Astronaut
- Suga/Yoongi/AgustD - Daechwita; Haegeum (from his newly released album this 2023)
- J-hope/Hobi/Hoseok - Arson (from his solo album released July 2022); Chicken Noodle Soup (featuring Becky G.); On the Street (featuring J. Cole)
- Jimin - Who (from his latest solo album released July 2024); Set Me Free Pt.2 (from his solo album released last year); Filter (the one where he's wearing the maroon suit in the thumbnail); - Serendipity (where he's wearing a half-white, half-black button-down shirt in the thumbnail)
- V/Taehyung - his solo TinyDesk Korea concert where he featured a few of his songs on his solo album released last year; Singularity (look for the one that has "Stage Mix" in the title so you'll get different looks and intros hehe); Stigma
- JK/Jungkook - Euphoria (for the live version, choose the one with "ENG SUB" since other videos don't have closed captions); My Time (either of the available versions from the online concert or the stage mix is great); Hate You (visualizer version)
Rap line (RM, Suga, J-hope) - Cypher Medley (there are 4 of them so far but this shows them in snippets)
Vocal Line (Jin, Jimin, V, JK) - Truth Untold; House of Cards
Group: the BTS medley in Osaka is one of the best live performances, aside from their musical performances on the awards shows for MAMA or MMA :)
EXTRA: Please find time to look into J-hope's Lollapalooza performances in Chicago where he headlined. It's certainly a ride and those who's never heard of BTS before became a fan when they watched J-hope perform live! :D
They also had their most recent concert last October 2022 in Busan, South Korea and their official channel BangtanTV has videos of their songs there.
BTS Room Live for their 2021 Festa, please. You'll love it. The video can be found in their channel.
thanks!! 보라해~~💟🤗
I don't think this song bothered ARMY, it was just the haters looking to complain about something
YESSSSS RAP GOD JIN
Jungkook was 16 here
6:54 hiii girl thanks for reacting. Army love you and support you a loooot. And that'd j-hope our sunshine not jin ❤❤❤❤
Can you plssss watch the dance practice of war of hormone❤❤❤it's VERY funny
Please react to J Hope ft Becky G. Chicken Noodle soup.
omg dont ignore jhope like that...u said jin when jhope part..like its break my heart
Jungkook was actually 16 in this one, it was released in 2014. Jin is NOT a rapper, that was J-Hope.
The actual translation should be closer to women are equations we have to solve them. Or something more to that effect.
Exactly....
yep
@@maykacha4987 i think it was the haters. they misunderstood the lyrics.it could have ben both the Korean and Eng ones.
React to 2019 mmas from bts their performance was amazing
There is a very obvious unserious undertone to both the MV and the song so I don't know why people were so pressed about it (especially back then). The song is literally called 'War of Hormones', haha. It's honest and slightly mocking
The song is really fun and good 💜
And it was Hobi rapping not Jin 😊
D tunggu reaction MMA 2019 ...
❤❤❤
Please react to run BTS chapter 79-80 💜💜💜
Los chicos mismos explicaron que se trataba del punto de vista de chicos hormonados.
Its hilarious seeing your videos say Jinkook bias. And then here you were so baby Army calling Hobi Jin and saying you forgot Jin was such a good rapper. Bahahahaha. I love it.
High heels 👠 is sexy looking when girls wear them
I just find the song cute, nothing controversial at all, and holds true to teenagers and hormones just as it implies.. You have Jin and Jhope mixed up. Jhope rapper, Jin is a vocalist.
Please react to the rise of Bantang chapter 2 and react to run BTS episode 79-80 ❤
Yeah it was crazy. These are vanilla lyrics 😂😅
*This is going to long a$$ comment*
Let's be real, War of Hormones wasn't misogynistic.
It doesn't mean sexual way”* it's freaking mistranslation, if you don't belive me ask any korean, not only k-army but any Korean.. it was done to sabotage BTS's career..💀
BTS hv made few mistakes unknowingly early in their career and said things which can be considered offensive, as they were young but they hv re-educated themselves, apologized and never repeated the mistakes again..but I hv seen many k-popies and so called Multi Armys twisting many things because of that..take for example this song.. it's blown out of the proportion just to cause drama..and they were sadly successful in that..haters/antis tried every lil thing to bring BTS down & sabotage their career ngl..
But when he actually tries to rap...... lol
Hi Peachy 💜
I got a little bit confused when you called J-Hope Jin but it's okay 😅
If you want to know more about BTS member's personalities, you can watch funny and cute compilation videos on RUclips
I don't mention any video because there're too many of these but you will find some cool ones
Also to know more and better about the BTS journey, you can watch the video The Bangtan 7: a beautiful life goes on by Rize Squad (🚨 Make sure you watch the latest updated one, accurate as 2023 I think)
You can watch videos from the channel Boracity magazine too. I'm warning you that she doesn't hold back in her essays but she's always explaining why she says things and she has always recipes and proofs of what she says so don't worry
Have a good day/night 💜
Hugs. -2019 Army NY USA💜

The song that was allegedly misogynistic was War of Hormone. It is satire about teenage boys battling their hormones. It isn't misogynistic at all, and a lot of what people wanted to say was misogyny, was because of mistranslation. Also, a lot of it was just people grasping at straws to try and stop BTS from succeeding.

And the crazy part is apparently the misogynistic lyrics were
"Women are gifts" which I know could be objectifying but they were boys at that time & didn't know it could be taken the wrong way, they obviously didn't mean any harm, and the title of the song was literally WAR OF HORMONES.
I don't think its misogynist bcuz they are talking about what goes on in the mind of teenage boys and when compared to american songs its nothing
LOL no girl, not Jin... J-Hope!
Jin doesn't rap much.
Still you are doing really well recognizing the guys.
Your reactions are fun 🫰
That wasn't Jin it was j hope
😂😂😂😂💜💜💜
V slapped jimin's booty , nd last rapper is jhope not jin
Honestly they went to though so much shit his song is not my favorite but that is not but that is not because of any stupid so called misogynist lyrics I mean like seriously Korea? Girl if he's smile he does something to you you must react to his tipsy lives you will not survive the long hair the smile! Jungkook is the biggest flirt! karaoke cooking you have got to watch one of his lives
