This is such a good idea! I recently bought a cheap synthetic kinky straight wig, the ones with that cheap plastic parting.
I was gonna cut out the plastic parting, replace it with lace & ventilate the lace with the hair from that plastic part, to make it a lace part wig.
But, now after seeing this crochet method. I’m just gonna cut a slit down the plastic parting (maybe sharpie it black) & sew a couple of wig clips on! 😀
