Borderlines and Histrionics can be some of the most difficult people to be in a relationship with and Extremely difficult to Treat.
I think this is perfectly relevant. There needed to be an explanation to this jury as to why a woman would make false accusations & take all of these lies so far as to ruin an innocent man's whole life without second thought. Explaining her mental status gives them an understanding of how someone could be so callous.
I find it very interesting how some people hate psychological evaluations. All fake image they created crumbles near a real psycologist.. This annoys them as hell..
My older sister has these disorders and is extremely narcissistic. She's just like amber.

Imo, Johnny has won back his reputation! I hope he'll move on to doing more great movies and hopefully gain even more fans, myself included. Amber, on the other hand, has already lost. I can't imagine her career is promising.
Dr. Shannon seems very knowledgeable and confident. Even if her testimony is somewhat irrelevant to the case, she represented herself very well.
I knew she has BPD. She is exactly like my brothers ex! My brother used to be abused by his ex physically and mentally! My brother was over six foot and big. He would not fight back but one time he was so sick of her hitting him and she wouldn’t stop so he held her against a wall and said he would not let her go until she calmed down. So when he finally let her go, she called the cops and they did not believe my brother! He got arrested! She was hooked on drugs also.
It’s often that toxic people are ones who don’t get help, so there was no proof for your brother to even show the cops that his wife had BPD. Through our stories and educating one other, hopefully the world catches up to this awareness and STOP ENABLING/EXCUSING BAD BEHAVIOR.
Thank for sharing your experience, hopefully your brother managed to get away from further abuse.

I feel like men especially who are considered "big guys" are even less likely to be the abusive one, because they know their own size and are that much more careful to not accidentally hurt somebody.
All generalized obviously, just as far as men who have been abused by women in any degree, they all probably did nothing in response but I always feel like the big tall guy is easier to take advantage of its all heartbreaking really

They’re not claiming she’s off. They’re claiming she has boarderline, due to her own past medical records, AKA, she has been diagnosed before. Doctors don’t CLAIM you have cancer. Boarderline is often co-morbid with NPD. Hence what this is meant to imply to the public.
It's called borderline and the Dr. clearly stated that she was completely reevaluated... A whole 2 day series of tests was done.

While both HPD and BPD contribute to explaining the horrific behavior in this case, it does not excuse the behavior or minimize the impact on the actual victim, family, friends and associates.......not to mention the entire world.

The psychologist’s testimony & findings, for me at least, gave some support & context as to why Ms Heard would have alleged abuse in their marriage based on her personality disorder. I think it was relevant in this case, especially when the psychologist described Ms Heard scoring as “sophisticated” in the tests.
And how some people who are diagnosed with this disorder can resort to violence or other forms of abuse & manipulation when they feel abandonment (even if this is self perpetuated or even at times not based in reality).
I hope Depp’s team are able to clearly link it back to a suggestion at least of a “sophisticated” intention to cause harm in writing that op-ed piece.
The psychologist is truly a key witness, she’s impartial and also educating the jury. AH is going to look like the wife from Hell. AH seems like a woman who thinks she can outsmart the world, clearly she didn’t do enough research on PTSD, in acting we call that poor character research.

It's sad that her close family didn't assist and encourage her in getting and receiving support for her mental health treatment. It seems they were maybe starstruck and enjoyed her fame at the time
@@deidreb.6540 Having been married to a bpd, the family is usually afraid of and deals with the abuse or they speak up about it and are cut off.
They think there is some genetic link as well as if that genetic link is nurtured through abuse and neglect. So, you can be prone to it, but are lucky enough to have at least one loving normal parent. My ex was typical, absent father and mother who was most likely cluster b as well.
JD is paying this woman though, to be fair they should have both been evaluated. They did this all in one day? Not good. Better to have a series of visits, as a person can present differently when they establish some trust with the client. One visit she knows this can be used against her so she'll be on the defensive

Amber heard has no case on Johnny. The only thing they can say about him is that he drinks or does drugs... that doesn't mean he hit her and not one video or recording portrays that. Her borderline personality is showing that she is Crazy and did this bullshit to hurt him. She wants money....its so obvious. She even said she was worried about her credibility....and you think that's Johnny ultimate goal?? So weird...pay attention!
Crazy isn't in the DSM-V though. Depp testified himself on his first day that his mother's emotional and verbal abuse was worse than the physical abuse, so he KNOWS how damaging it can be. And yet he chose to abuse Amber in that way repeatedly. Neither of these people are emotionally healthy . Not sure I'd want to date either of them. Alcoholics abuse everyone around them just be being a drunk. Everyone else has to walk on eggshells, keep secrets, etc. Can't just be honest or themselves .

I disagree with the guest when he says that all that's necessary is to show to JD abused AH "once." If you're abusing and are the "villain" in 99% of interactions, and 1% of the time you could be described as being at the "abused" end of an interaction, is it "accurate" to present yourself as a "victim" of abuse? Perhaps -- in the strictest sense of the words. But you're NOT "a victim of domestic abuse" in the way the phrase is commonly used and understood. NOT BY A LONG SHOT. Between two people expressing a lot of negativity and anger, if there is anything like a "lopsided" proportion of abuse, the "victim" is the one who suffered the most abuse. This is the way we speak and communicate. This is what we MEAN by being a "victim."
Right, repeated and sustained abuse that gets under your skin and erodes who you were, someone who tries to control every aspect of your life over time, isolate you and make it impossible for you to leave them

My question: why did AH agree to meet with Dr. Curry if she knew that Johnny's team hired her, and that she could later be called as an expert witness for Johnny's civil suit against her? Did she actually believe she could outwit or manipulate this psychologist or that there was absolutely nothing psychologically abnormal with her?

Absolutely. That's a narcissist. They think they always are above, better than and able to "win" when being challenged. She's done it up until this point which is just fueling her belief that she can get what she wants.
And why did Johnny also get tested to be fair?
The judge ordered her to. It was ordered by the court. She couldn't say no.

She was brilliant. I feel like she should have also diagnosed / assessed Johnny. I don't think he is abusive or anything but I think the comparison would have been helpful. Cause I feel like he would actually be the one with PTSD.
Edit: As for the whole Johnny has to prove he didn't abuse her, that isn't really true. You can't prove a negative. That's why you are innocent until proven guilty. That's why you can't just publish stories labelling people things without saying ALLEGEDLY. Also it is important to prove Amber is a lying manipulative, abusive b^tch because it discredits her claims so you don't believe her when she gets up and lies saying he did x,y and z.
And claiming talking about her mental health isn't relative or mean. What about their focus on his addiction? They spent a crazy amount of time asking about his drug and alcohol issues like that automatically makes him domestic abuser. Her mental health is just as relevant if not more so than his addiction.

She on the other hand has been toxic in every relationship, familial, friend, and romantic. Including physically abusive to those partners. If being with an addict was such a hardship she could have walked away as well.
Yes they both said hurtful crap to each other but I'm focusing specifically on the physical aspect which she greatly exaggerated if not outright fabricated. From the situations I've heard so far it seems like she starts physical fights and IF she gets injured it's because he is defending himself.

I feel so badly for her listening to what is reported about her mental status. I can't tell if her subtle facial reactions meant she agreed and hoped it wouldn't be revealed or if she was accepting of it. I missed how much time the Psychologist said she spent with her to arrive her her findings. I heard her say she referenced others' conclusions. Usually, one has to spend several, several hours assessing a patient before a diagnosis can be made.
She said they spent 7 hours together on the first day and 8 hours on the second day, along with lunch breaks.
I feel bad for him, hearing all the horrible lies she told about him, and then having it reported on social media, t.v. and newspaper & magazine articles. Losing jobs, for no reason other than, because she's evil, and all the while playing the innocent victim.

Giving Amber a psychological evaluation is very relevant as she had claimed she suffered from PTSD she open the door herself with more fake claims to gain sympathy that was a lie she does not have PTSD not only is there’s no reason to feel sorry for her with unnecessary sympathy it’s quite obvious that if she did suffer the absolute horrendous abuse she “claimed” she absolutely would have PTSD it doesn’t get any more relevant than that!
I already diagnosed her, my daughter is identical in a relationship and she’s been diagnosed with the same.

at the moment i heard limit disorder all did click. is one of the most problematic disorders, is hard to identify, and is hard to for therapist to work with, the main reason is one symptom that consist in idealization and then utter invalidation once the other person fails inebitably to meet those idealized expectations. Other symptoms are overflow of emotions, reckless behavior, fear of abandonment, manipulation, depresion as consequence of the destroyed relationship that these traits causes. Its a shame that most of the time the therapist had to explain basic knowledge, but is not common knowledge

BPD and HPD are statistically more likely to be the ones abused than than the other way around. Personality disorders don’t necessarily make someone abusive. BPD is different for every person and same with HPD. Often those with personality disorders end up being abused. Either way this psychologist never said amber was abusive she just pointed out she fits the criteria for those two specific disorders.
The evidence of abuse meaning pictures audio and personal statements suggest she is the abusive one. Also none of his exes have said he was abusive, they’ve actually come out and said the opposite. Violent wife beaters have a history of violence. He does not
Jody Arias was diagnosed with BPD and killed her boyfriend. Women with BPD (see Dr Tara Palmatier) often make false sexual assault allegations too, which is extremely abusive to men especially during child custody cases.
