Just got to say The Master made that repair to the rear wing look easy but that skill is what makes me watch this channel Rob it’s brilliant and Art to watch, keep on doing what you do Chris cause yer pure class mate. Crack on!!! 😊
This should be in the dictionary under "crack on"!! That was mazing to watch the transformation in just over 10 minutes. Thank you for a Sunday video, so nice!
I’ve got 2 cars on the go from co part. I’ve just subscribed to learn a few things. I was a mechanic 30 yrs ago so have knowledge but that was a nice job. I’m loving the process of doing mine 👍
Lovely car ,I liked it as a soon as you bought it into the workshop two years ago,it has a lovely shape, Rob has sprinkled his magic dust on it again .well done.
I remember watching the original video about this car, I thought then what a great looking car it was, now it’s repaired it is beautiful, well done guys, another miracle worked❤.
They do handle well the VW Passat. I have the GT Estate verison with the 190 lump. It was nice to see that work that was put into it, to get it back to how it left the Showroom, and then seeing it a year on still looking the dogs dangles. Top work as ever.
Iv been following since the very start and genuinely I think this was one of the nicest of the modern cars you've done . Such a handsome car in that spec!
You two are chalk and cheese with your skills but mange to make a great team. People always underestimate Rob,…but Rob knows the game in buying cars/parts and you’ll never make any money unless you buy at the right price. Chris is on Yoda skill level though!
Always a pleasure to watch Chris work his magic on damaged panels the standards of his work are so impressive. Don't blame you keeping this one its a lovely car.
Fantastic repair, well done, Chris shows amazing talent with dent puller and restoration management. Thanks Rob with all the camera work, time lapse and an assortment of incidental music to accompany the time lapse, great result, liked the one year later touch.💚👍👌🍺🍻🥃🌎🗽
Brilliant again fellas a lovely surprise Sunday 👏 video team work and attention to detail second to none as usual 😀. Take care and stay lucky and healthy looking forward to Mondays video 📹 😀 already.
hello both, that was different to see everything in 10 minutes!! Just amazed at the finish acheived with the special tool to bring out the dented panel!! Wonderful! Best wishes from Lincolnshire
Great video Rob and Chris excellent work às always guy's it still looks incredible a year later and demonstrated the superb quality of workmanship that many repairers do in the industry and of course how it should be 👌👍👍👍👍♥️
Great video and great to see a true body man doing a fantastic job. Love the hinge repair most would have changed the B post. You 2 should invest or look into the paintless repair tools. I just got a floor jig that fixes to the floor with lock pins and chains. And the pull tools are exactly the same as normal jig tools apart from the clamps. They hot glue the pull clamps to the panels and it shocked me as I've been a panel beater for 30 years and tried one of them cheap ebay glue on pull hammers kits. Totally crap. Then I see a bodyshop down in South London use one as i was there to pick up a motor and watched the chap. And I went in and had a chat. And he showed me the set. You cam like I did make your own jig system as long as you put a few anchor points in your floor it works. I was amazed by how it just pulled out a stuffed in quarter panel which I'd chop off or spend grinding the paint off and filling it with filler. Once I got the hang of the stress points and panel beating a totally different way. Chris would love it it makes a perfect no mess no filling job. Some jobs you need a bit of filler but it's a art takes time to learn how the metal stretches and each make is different. Watch a few videos on RUclips and see what you think. I just laughed at it but seeing a old boy pull a rear quarter out on a mercedes sprinter that was nearly touching the inner panel within 20min it looked like it never been hit. Secret is the glue the American stuff is better bit expensive but it holds 200kg on 1 hook. Keep up the good work. Let me know how you get on 👍
Hi Rob and Chris brilliant video again love to see Chris doing the body work very interesting you made a fantastic job of that car and it still looks like new well done keep your videos coming Bernard
Amazing stuff! (About eight years ago) I had a nice old mk1 focus Ghia and badly cut and damaged one of the rear doors on a persons protruding garden corner wall. I could have got it repaired at a body shop for £300 but a buddy at work found me a complete same colour door assembly off e-bay, for £38 quid! Happy days boys!
Guys, not enjoying the re-hashed old videos to be honest. Dont feel like you need to put out videos just fo the sake of it...I think we would all happily wait for new videos on cars we havent seen yet!
I remember this one lads, one of the best finds that you have had on the channel to date, as everything turned out fine and the car looked better than new when you were both finished with it. 👍
Rob have you heard of development powder ? It’s the same thing as guide coating but a lot less flaffing around. They use it a lot in Europe. . Saves time setting up spraying pot etc.
Blimey lads I can't believe it's been a year since you fixed this 😎 Don't forget to let me know when your selling it and I will bring you some cakes down. All the best 🤜🤛 ☺️🍻👍
I love that car😍probably my favourite so far. It’s a shame the first owner didn’t tick the pan roof option. I’ve just ordered my new car & it’s the first option box I tick every time. I had two Passats in the past from new & both were lovely cars.
Really like this format for a Sunday video. If you could manage to even out the volume of the music and the commentary that would make it perfect! Lovely car, brilliant work (as always) 👍🏆🙂

Just shows that your repairs are done properly and not just to get them out of the door.
I’d happily have one of yours.
