Skoda India has shown some promise with its India Project 2.0. Sales are still not astronomical but are good for a brand like Skoda. Skoda has put a lot of effort into making the Kushaq and Slavia as well-rounded as possible. The latest was the 5-star crash test rating both cars got. However, now Skoda will look to make them even better. Kushaq scored a perfect 5-star crash test rating in GNCAP. The Kushaq scored 5 stars in both adult occupant and child protection.
The Kushaq was launched in June 2021, so the Kushaq is still a fairly new product. Generally, manufacturers bring a facelift of their models after three years of the launch.

Hi sir, what is your opinion about 1.0L AT? Does it feel underpowered? Especially when fully loaded. How is the AC performance? I have heard lot of issues about it.
Dear friend, I have driven the 1.0 litre Kushaq MT for about 20 Km only! I found the engine is adequate enough, better than Creta non Turbo in pulling and power delivery! For city drives, I guess, it's just perfect! In comparison, 1.5 TSI has more power, useful in Highway drives and hilly areas, which one may not need so frequently! Not saying 1.0 litre is underpowered in Highways or in the hills, it's just that 1.5 Litre feels more eager in such cases
I too heard about lukewarm AC performance in 1.0 litre Kushaq, but I am not eligible to answer you that!

Hi! Thanks for the compliment! Yes, I feel it's a great car to own for 10 years + because:
1. It has a great engine,
2. Safest SUV,
3. Timeless design,
4. Top trim has all necessary features to carry you through the decade,
PROVIDED, you take good care of the car, regular and recommended servicing is done! Servicing of Kushaq is once a year only and if you have bought SMP & EW, it will give you peace of mind and lesser expenses!
I myself have owned a car for a little over 7 years ( petrol car) till I decided to change / upgrade my car. Petrol engines can last you long, so nothing to worry!
Only thing is in 10 years, Automobile industry will evolve much and you may also become solvent to try out a newer and updated Skoda / VW car... So just enjoy your Kushaq as on date! Happy & safe Kushaqinh!

Mileage in City is 8 - 12 kmpl depending on traffic, on Highway, 13- 20 kmpl depending again on road condition & traffic

How is it's AC. Many say it is not that good.
@@Smith771 Well, I could not test it properly as I am in Shillong and the summers here aren't that hot. My short experience during my trip to the plains ( Guwahati) was not very encouraging though! I felt AC in my earlier vehicles like S Cross, Nexon was better than Kushaq 's

Hello sir, I am based in Bangalore and bought kushaq 1.5MT last month and driven 1500km so far. Only regret I have is could have bought kushaq automatic. Bangalore traffic sucks. I shifted from swift diesel to this car and loving this car.
Yeah, Automatic would have been the ideal choice for you! Anyways, hit the Highways on weekends to neutralize that feeling during the week days commute and I am sure, you will love driving the beast that much that, you will wait for next weekend! 😃
