I’m so glad she has spoken up about such gruesome issues of abuse, something that’s really not talked about and encouraged others to speak up aswell. I have been watching Law & Order: SVU. since the very 1st Season and Still watch it Now, 22 Seasons later! I 💜 Mariska as an Actress,, Female Role Model for my Daughter who also watched SVU growing up, and of course, I 💜 her for all the tireless hours and effort she Pours into her Organization A Joyful Heart, as well as her work. With the Campaign that she started 💙 NO MORE! 💙 My Daughter is grown now but as a teenager and 18 year old she Competed in All Natural/Non ~ Glitz Pageants. She was State, National and Internationally Ranked as a Teenager. During her last year before retirement She moved up to the Miss Division and was State and MULTI ~ STATE Region Titled. During her year as Miss Gulf Coast Tourism, She worked to raise money for the Local Crisis Center for Abuse Victims and braught attention to the NO MORE Campaign. She also worked with the Crisis Center towards starting an Education Program For Teenage Girls about TEENAGED Dating Violence, Which ended up being a very Common Thing in her High School! So, we approached the other 2 local High Schools and they agreed to let us come in and talk to the Girls in an assembly and then The Boys were addressed by the Directors of the County Crisis Intervention Program who Runs the Programs like the Crisis Centers and the Fund Raisers to keep them Operating! At All 3 High Schools we passed out Anonymous Questioners and Crisis Cards. The Questioners we got back were EXTREMELY ALARMING In The Number of Girls between Ages 14 & 18 years old who had been Hit, Abused, Forcibly Touched Sexually by a Date and/or Boyfriend! These Girls weren't weren't even out of HS yet and they were Dealing with with that kind of Crap! To say my Daughter Idolized Mariska growing up is a Serious Understatement! 🥰 I am So Grateful that in today's society there are still good, kind hearted people in this world! ❤

I would agree with you, but Mariska is an actress who genuinely deserves to be recognized and praised for her achievements. She's helped so many women who have been violated in one way or another, not just through TV but also the charity she founded. She even became a certified rape counselor.
