I'm trying something new and set this up as a premiere to watch it with you guys at 10am PT. I'll be in the live chat going back and forth you. If it's fun, I'll continue to do it.
Should name the video "When does the Royal Flush come?" So many suited royals that I kept going "oh this is it!" only for the rainbow flop to show lol Love the videos broski
Thanks for your content, your personality, and your time sharing your experiences. Hopefully I'll get to a MUG sometime and shake your hand and say hello!!
I was watching this in the middle of a restaurant and almost spat out my food when you said that he later told you he had pocket tens after you saw his cards. That was legitimately some great dead pan delivery that’s a sub right there
Brad …you’re a local legend! Love the vids, love the commentary. Not gonna lie , that pocket tens joke had my wife looking at me like I belong in a mental hospital, I couldn’t stop laughing either. It’s the voice, the timing ,the narrative , dry humor with no explanation. Legend!!!!
Ronnie is such a good dude, not just an amazing player. He and I played HU Limit at Foxwoods once to start a game. I ran like God and practically didn’t lose a hand for around 2 hours, and he was so incredibly fun and cool about it.
Brad your Vlogs are the best part of my week 💥 Congratulations on the 6-card Royal! Sooo sick 🤙it happens @25:35 if you're pressed for time. Stats for poker nerds: The odds of hitting 6 suited RF are 1 in 727,090 heads up😎 in a full table like this is around 1 in 13,000,000. Sadly they don't get paid
@@RainBulletsbecause when there are four cards of the same suit (and in a straight) in the middle, no one wants to bet bc they know somebody will beat them
Yea! I wish channels like this did timeline stamps, unfortunately its bad optics for viewer renention. At least they have ads before the highlights, they deserve the YT cash
Really glad to see you and Rampage starting to collab here and there. I like Neeme and Mariano quite a bit as well, but you and Rampage are the ones that I'm really looking forward to watching new content every week.
Surprisingly, I have yet to miss an episode since 2019!!! Your videos has helped me get through some of my darkest and longest days!!! Thank you!! Will always be a fan!
Brad, I enjoy watching your videos, especially when you explain why you made the call, raise or fold. Keep them coming champ. One day I will make it down to the lodge and hopefully make the blog for a good decision.
Had my first $500 day the other day playing 1/3 - the whole time I'm just thinking back to situations I've seen Brad in, how he played, and trying to make smart decisions on river bets lol.
Wait until that first $1000+ win playing 1/3 and you will be back at the casino before you can take a shower😂 only to lose it all by the end of the week. Poker is brutal
I greatly enjoy the quippy voice over. Poker notwithstanding, the narrative is playful, illustrative, and sharp-witted. The test? I much enjoy listening even without the visual stream.
I rivered a royal at my home game yesterday. I think it was the first time anyone at the table had seen that happen live. Crazy thing was next hand I turned quad aces and managed to get paid on both hands too 💰
The most immediate impression I gleaned from your vlog is your optimistic analysis of your hand after the flop. Maybe it’s common in your progression in poker strategy, but it’s the first time I’ve witnessed someone project the best possible outcome for your holding.
I've been watching your vlogs for the better part of 3 years now and I think that was the first time I've ever heard you drop the F bomb haha. See you at the Lodge next week!
Yeah I remember. I'm working on writing the script for that video right now. It ended up being a wild session. I took a break shortly after meeting you guys and then came back to play high stakes. I hope you guys had a good time.
Nice session even though you had to dig your way out and only take home a hunny! Congrats on the straight flush turned into a royal! Funny when all of the guys started telling how many tjey have hit shows they all play a lot of poker. I have hit 7 including spades, hearts and clubs twice but all online and never one live as I don't play live as nearly as much as I have online. Need to come to Lodge and meet you and play some as I do not play near enough live as I should! Love your content and keep up the great work!
I’ve never had a royal flush and I’ve lived in Reno 41 years and I’ve been playing poker starting in Vegas back in 1970. Congrats 🎊 and I’m glad I viewed a live Royal flush on your channel 😊
I've made 5 royals, all on line and two this year. The last was with the 6 card royal also. I saw someone river a 6 card royal once, kind of rubbed it in as the opponent got it all in on the flop with quad aces and was dead on the turn... gotta love it.
I've also hit a 6 card royal flush before, flopping a straight flush. I had K9 of clubs, flop came QJ10 of clubs, another Q on the turn, and then the A of clubs on the river. Very similar fashion!
Congratulations on your Royal Flush!! The closest I ever came to that, was a straight flush in spades. In my case, I had flopped a flush with the Queen and the Ten on board. Then the Jack came on the turn to complete the flush. I was playing 6/12 Limit Hold 'Em at Hollywood Park when this happened. I had one opponent, and he bet, and I raised. He three-bet, and I thought I was capping it at four bets, but then the dealer reminded me that the raising could continue heads-up. My opponent made it five bets, and I promptly made it six. Only then did he only call. But he said "You'd better have a straight flush." I already figured he had the Ace of Spades. After an off-suit King came on the river, I slammed my cards face-up, saying "I got the DOG-HAND straight flush!!" (KS-9S was what I had)
26:38 Negreanu has definitely had a royal flush. I know the video where he said he's never had one, but that was ages ago, and when he was vlogging from the 2021 WSOP, the dealer who dealt him his first royal flush was there and they were talking about it.
It’s crazy how just knowing a royal flush is coming in the video makes you notice all the suited Broadway starting hands way more and sit up and pay attention.
Well deserved thumb up!!! Reminds me of Keith Ledger's Knight Tales Joisting against Prince Edwards... Know the rules of the game and play it memorably.
i have been making losses trying to make profit trading. I thought trading demo account is just like trading the real market... can anyone help me out or at least advise me on what to do?
Great game, Brad! Thank you for your vlog, your positive attitude and approach to the game are very helpful to me in perceiving the game more correctly. Cheers!
I know I’m a bit late as this was posted 6 months ago, but around 6 months ago my grandad passed away. And he was an avid poker player and he won a small tournament in Australia, with the winning hand to end it all being a 7 card royal flush. Awesome story to remember him by
$65 for a royal flush is criminal 😂 I was only in vegas in june for the first time ever and I was playing cash games in the bellagio it was a great experience. Love the videos keep then coming love from Ireland.
I made 2 royals in one live tournament. They were probably only about 100 hands apart too. I got one of them on film as I hit it live. I also recorded the first one but somehow deleted the footage 😖
Been a fan and sub since you first started! Can you show what books on poker you have read and which one was your fav ? which one you believe took you to the next level?
Hey @BradOwenPoker, have you ever dumped your chip rack on your way to the cashier? Don't know how you so effortlessly single handedly while filming manage to make that look so easy!
16 years of playing and I just made my first royal flush on the first hand of the tournament I played last Friday. Unreal feeling and I'm glad you can relate 😊 I had AQ clubs and saw a flop of K clubs, T clubs and 5 hearts. Turn A diamonds and river J clubs.
20:09 I wouldn't call 2nd pair in BB against UTG straddler 'calling down on the lighter side'. A-J or A-3 is a light call, perhaps, even 8-9 for middle pair would be considered light but your Q-5 was the near nuts when it goes flop X-bet33-call,Turn X-X, river X-bet60 against straddler.
The vlog is perfect to watch when I'm on the elliptical, thank you! The TT hand, after villain leads, i was wondering if you were going to bluff there. Way to have the balls to go for it!
I've been playing poker for over 40 years & have lost count of how many Royal Flushes I've made. I've made 3 Royal Flushes in the past 2 months, which is the most I've made in that short of a time period. I've flopped 1 in Texas hold'em & have even been dealt 1 in 5 card draw!
I'm trying something new and set this up as a premiere to watch it with you guys at 10am PT. I'll be in the live chat going back and forth you. If it's fun, I'll continue to do it.
Hype train 🚂
getting the chance to see a "Royal" in action.. is worth the wait... never had one outside of a slot machine.
The anticipation is killing me!
its fun
I like it!
When you said after seeing his cards he would later tell you "he also had pocket tens", I fell out of my chair. You kill me Brad! Love it as always.
That was too good 😂
Yup!
😂😂😂
I was reading this comment while it was happening😂
Ikr, I was lmao
Laughed out loud at the pocket tens joke after he folded QJ 😂
i dont get it
I had to replay that, it was so funny.

Love the videos broski
We almost have the exact same profile picture
@@safehacker61107 hey...I'm dirty dan

"After seeing his hand, he would later tell me he had pocket 10's" that was absolutely hilarious 😂😂😂😂
Thanks for your content, your personality, and your time sharing your experiences. Hopefully I'll get to a MUG sometime and shake your hand and say hello!!
I hope you do make it to a MUG, and if you do, definitely come say hi. I'll buy us a beer with that donation. Thanks a lot Aaron.

@@RainBulletsbecause when there are four cards of the same suit (and in a straight) in the middle, no one wants to bet bc they know somebody will beat them

Now I gotta wait 11 hours for this, blue ballin me Brad..

Fantastic content Brad. You’ve gotten much better at this vlogging thing since I first started watching you
The dry erase board message is hilarious and look forward to seeing future entries! Love the analysis and incorporation of the solver…

Tony G hit a 6 card Royal Flush with ivey etc at the table. This was 15 years ago. It also has the famous "I had trips" line.

The only guy I ever saw really get paid off with a royal was going against quad aces in that one WSOP hand with Ray Romano at the table.
@progrocker2112 The infamous A(d) on the river. That was so sick. "If this happened to Phil Hellmuth, the table would no longer be here."
