I have been playing trumpet for 4 1/2 years and being very quiet and restrained was my biggest problem by far. Now since I realized I needed to keep an open throat I have been looking for answers. The information in this video immediately fixed my problem and I can now play much louder than before. It's also helping me get more air out, so I can play higher notes and increase my range. Thank you so much, I cannot express my gratitude enough :).

What do you call when someone uses throat instead of tongue when playing notes? Instead of "da da da" or "ta ta ta" he/she plays "a a a" with a sort of a bit force to release an air
