hello elise i have been seen your videos here and I've been ignoring them cause i really suck at amigurumi but lately i was tired of crocheting sweaters and blankets. so i have been doing some amigurumi this couples of weeks and your tips and the love you have for amigurumi made me want to crochet more amigurumi!. plus more patterns you have to pay or is either in a book but you show me that there is free and beautiful patterns! what frustrated me on pinterest they are some patterns that they were nothing like in the picture. @@EliseRoseCrochet I finished my tooth fairy pillow, turned out so cute, she has crown & wings. Ordered tulle from Amazon & it stretches so easily, I have something more like tubes, not fluffy like yours🤷♀️any suggestions will be appreciated
Update: figured it out, I was pulling to tight, haven't worked with tulle before, it's so delicate & I tend to be rough lol

@@EliseRoseCrochet I made the mistake of going on Amazon and looking at Amigurumi pattern books. So far my total is about $240 lol I will have to piece it out.

This is so cute - and so different from what I was thinking I would have to do. Unfortunately, I didn’t do the BLO. (The pattern didn’t include it and I didn’t think I would be able to do the skirt like this!) I’m going to TRY it in the regular stitches. Wish me luck! (If it doesn’t work, then I guess I’ll have to go buy some elastic…)
I would try it in the regular stitches, let me know if it's works! 💖💖💖

She is so cute! I have a question though. How do you get the animals to stand on their own?
The alligator stood on its own because it has a back tail so it balances nicely. My stitches are quite tight and I also stuff really well, so they can stand. Other times I prop up something behind them that you can't see and they sort of lean against the item. Hope that helps! 💓🍄🌻
