Loving the new video format, keep it up! I can't believe how much weight some of these hooks have held!

Nice work CNC Kitchen! I honestly thought I'd only lose to another spiral.
Interestingly - I don't think my hook failed because of lack of a latch on the outer most layer it clearly broke before that. It only unwound after 3-4 inner spirals had been stretched to the limit and broken.
I wonder if SBG or captain hook will fair better, where it appears they have designed the inner spirals with a wave so that it can flex outward.

These are the kind of videos i came here to watch! Great work, keep it up!
I neither participated nor own a 3D printer, but now i'd love to to buy one just to try my designs in the next competition :)

Wow this video is soooo much better! I definitely think a few hooks will reached above 1ton!!! which is so impressive for just 50g of PLA lol

The metal hooks are now cutting through the 3D printed ones. I believe the widest hook is the one that's going to win 🤔

Tough to tell. There are some that I didn't expect to make it this far. And others that failed earlier than I expected. It's anybody's game now!

The hooks which are more conformal to the shape of the metal hook will spread out the load better as well. Hopefully the metal links they are using now have a similar radius on the curve as the S hooks as that could affect the load distribution. I think the winner(s) will be the spiral hooks, #Sendit_hook or Stefan/CNC kitchen because it's Stefan and he knows what he's doing :). Hopefully they use an adjusted S hook in the next rounds for mine since mine relies on that shape but I have no idea how well it will do frankly.
