Confirming they're suspending the K-ETAs for a bit. It doesn't seem like you need any visa for travel, but it really wasn't inconvenient. I think they needed it mostly for covid tracing tbh. I still have mine from last year.

Went solo last October. Easy.....didn't go to any bbq restaurants knowing that solo eater wouldn't be allowed. Stayed at the Conrad Yeouido used Kakao taxi and the trains with no issue

That's true about the KETA is suspended till December 2024 for those certain countries. I am going back for the 3rd time in October.

Yes, KETA is suspended to promote travel. But it will expire after 12/31/2024. At that point, everyone will need to reapply and pay for KETA.
