I bought this and got it today I love it! Reason it is attaches to a belt loop. It's hand to grab when you need it. You can hang it metal for a sparse light lantern. Very handy to have...and you don't even know you are carrying it! I just ordered more batteries for when these peg out! 10 for 4.00 for China free shipping...not bad and worth it!

Only downside I see is when it's a lantern and you want to hang it from your tent. Nothing to clip it to. Cheers Karl

But you can't use it as a lantern...useless! the hook needs to be removed for it to work....to bad.
