Thanks! That's too funny because we have been using the same gear for years now! 😂 I figure I should care for the gear we have so we don't need to replace it 👌
New Subscriber! This video came up in my feed this morning, which is crazy because a few weeks ago my buddy I spent a few days on that lake at the same site and the scenery was just breathtaking. Enjoyed the video and your guys point of view of the trip. My wife spent some time with Tori a few years ago before we ran the Moon River and had the same smile you did for at least a week lol Tori is phenomenal at what she does. Thank you for sharing.
I see you found Paddle Like a Girl. I mentioned her in my comment a few videos ago which was just a couple of hours ago because I’m binge watching you videos lol
This was a really great watch Rach. Thank you for bringing us along. This past summer I had the opportunity to try canoeing at a close friend mine’s cabin up in maine. I don’t know if it was the fact that the paddles were too long or what but the whole paddling process of propelling a canoe through the water felt really unnatural to me. I’ve been kayaking now for 16 years and the biomechanics of that feels really good to me. I remember the canoe paddles being very long like up to my adams apple and I’m 5 10. 60” paddle maybe. I don’t know if it’s because of thefact that my body has adjusted itself with muscle memory to kayaking only or the paddle was too long. Anyway… food for thought. Take care and I can’t wait for the next one!
Thanks! I think there is an increasing number of women enjoying the outdoors so keep a weather eye out, they're out there 😄 I think for most it's a question of where to start (location, gear, safety, etc) so having an experienced tripping partner would be a bonus!
I just bought a Sea to Summit eVent stuff sack bag. Didn't have a chance to use it yet, what is your experince with it in the real world. Really enjoy your videos.
I love the eVent stuff sacks! We have 5 (2 med + 3 lrg) that have been in use for about 10 years now. I use one for clothing and one for my sleeping bag and it's been great! I haven't had any leaking and or tearing at any seams. The handle on the end makes it easy to yank out of a stuffed canoe pack also! Worth the investment for sure 🙂. Thanks for watching!
My God every thing you’ve got is brand new. No scratches on anything. Thanks. Cheers. 👍🇨🇦

Thanks for bringing us along! Troy and I just sat down to watch :)
It was a fun weekend! Hopefully we can do another one soon 🙂
Another great video, nice to see women enjoying the outdoors, there should be more of them so I wouldn’t have to go on canoe trips alone
