A few things: 1. As you know, players change their contract ask at weird times. The reason Sennecke got pissy is cause his ask changed from 1.65 to 2.5 while your second offer was in the queue. So he wanted 2.5 and you offered 1.4 by his account. This also accounts for why he was pissy about that second offer but not the first, even though the first was worse. 2. When you offered him 1.25 instead of his 1.65 ask, you offered him 75% of his ask. No player will go for that. With the lower salary guys it's easy to make that mistake cause each dollar theoretically means more to them than the high salary guys (in terms of percentage). 3. You probably could have got Sennecke a mill or 2 cheaper if you had just left him qualified for a couple weeks. If you're not worried about an offer sheet, I've always found signing them to an extension around July 23rd can save you some valuable cash.
@@Koersky I personally don't calculate it out for each guy, cause I *have* seen before where a guy will take a little under 85 percent. But my point was just that 100k is 10% of a 1 mill contract while its only 1% of a 10 mill contract. So if a guy is asking for like 1.5, you don't have much room to barter with him like the bigger guys.
Avs & Devils was 2001. The 1st time since the seeding was the 2 top teams from each conference meet in the Finals. That was when Ray Borque finally won a Cup, his 22nd year in the league
Would be a cool series if you had to keep all your signed contracts until they end. - Also wild being mad at Sennecke when anyone and everyone on your team is expendable and could be traded anytime.
I stack my 4th line defensively (cheap 81-83 overalls that are defensive) like O’Reilly and then start my 4th line every game. Get a lot less points but I win a lot more games
You might already know, but when you do the actual game simulation, it changes all your gameplay sliders back to default afterwards. Have to swap off and on your pre saved slider settings every time you sim an actual game. Such an annoying bug that has been there since day 1. Like why don't they fix these things lol.
6:18 The 1.35 you offered Senneke is still less than the 85% rule, that's probably why it got rejected. It was you who was uptight with the money first haha.
Really thought this was the year you were gonna beat edmonton. You had better depth on offense, much better d, better goalie. The only thing they had is better high end players.
Hey tactic so sometimes I try to sign a player in free agency when I have 15 million dollars and he’s asking for 13 million, why does it say I don’t have enough cap space when I try to sign him?
Hope you guys enjoyed the video! Any ideas for final 2 seasons??
Trade Micheal misa
Bulster the lineup as much you can to take out Edmonton
Do Boston next pls
Plz do Pittsburgh
Trade for the Croatian
extend the series to 10! you have all these assets & a very stacked team, let’s see if we can win a few cups
agreed
Thanks for spoiling
we need 10 years back
agreed
You should add 2 more seasons, guys like DuPont sand Senneka and iginla won’t have enough time to grow into their full potential
WE WANT THIS TO GO 10!!
Extend it to 10 bro. You’ll be able to win more since all your young studs will grow and get X factors

I noticed that too he offered under 85%

That might be one of the most stacked teams I’ve seen you build, especially that defence!

just go to 10, i wanna see the team play out more, especially the new goalie
Calgary and Edmonton are reminding me a lot of Pittsburgh and Washington in the second round. Once you beat them you’ll win it all!
I hope so!
Would be a cool series if you had to keep all your signed contracts until they end.

GO TO 10
I’d never trade a player like Hutton. Too rare

extend the series to 10 years
I would’ve traded Necas instead of Hutton.
You should do a draft only franchise mode, no trades (or CPU trades), can only sign free agents to a 2 way contract

Carter George is an awesome goalie he plays/played for my Owen Sound Attack
Extend this series to 10, edmonton can't be good forever
tactix always coming in clutch with the franchise uploads
You NEED to that qualifying your RFAs and while they are under contract if you can’t get “sweetheart” deals. It’s so rare the CPU offer sheets
10 year series
DO 10 SEASONS!!!
you have too many assets to not let it see how it plays out
you’ve built an amazing team but I think just go crazy and make ur team even more stacked
36:49 my humour is so broken 🤣
LMFAO
oh dang
How is it even possible to lose to Edmonton this many times??? Maybe next year 😭
noooo why did I open comments I just spoiled it for myself
that’s my fault
Trade the young guns for players with high poise stat
This is where you turn on owner mode and relocate to Atlanta in the east 😂😂😂
Hey tactic so sometimes I try to sign a player in free agency when I have 15 million dollars and he’s asking for 13 million, why does it say I don’t have enough cap space when I try to sign him?
2 more seasons
the one time i see a oiler team dominate.... LOL
You need better center to shutdown Mcdavid.
Trade for Mcdavid to make oilers fans mad 🤣
3-16 against Edmonton now in playoffs wth trade with oilers and kinda hurt them
You may need to go 15 years to finally get past Edmonton..plus i think Necas had decent pts but his plus minus in playoffs very owie
Trade panarin before all the value is gone/he retired
Go back to 10 seasons but put it on 15 years so you can look at stats
Do 10 games
Go back to 10 seasons
3-16 against the Oilers #sad
