Her performance is perfection itself...Never thought that such an execution is possible. Also speed and power she generates is awsome, as well as rootening, hip rotation, use of tanden, concentration of mind, kime, etc.
Supreme! Only word for this magnificent display.the moves are so fluid, flowing that even the viewer gets relaxed.this supreme harmony with the inner & outer is her core!
@@georgehatzimanolakis1904watched it 0.25x spred and yes lots of hitting The GI. Some small moves that was not visible in full speed almost tricking The eye. Its Nice execution but i dont like hitting The GI for effect.

Kusanku, also called Kanku-dai in some schools, is common in karate schools that have roots in Shuri-te. It was one of my Shito Ryu sensei's favorite kata.
What is this sorcery? She moves so fast it's like something out of a video game. Any of those strikes would be instant ko's if they connected with a person. 99% of people wouldn't react fast enough to block them. Even seasoned MMA fighters mostly wouldn't block those strikes IMHO.
Proton1 Yeah, well ,some directors have no respect for the martial arts, but I think it would be great to show the skill of this miss in a movie. However, I understand martial arts is not about violence.
True, which are things i would define as correct technique, and as a general rule I find that most high level competitors do exhibit excellent posture, use of hips etc. I think people tend to forget that the criteria which are used to judge competition kata were for the most part defined by what previous masters thought indicated a good kata.
So, try it. I have trained karate for many years (black belt), and Taekwondo for some months... As far as I can judge, I wouldn't make any consideration about what is "best", I think it hasn't much sense, each one has its own approach, its own logic, view, utility, but I can tell you that, in my point of view, they are "similar" only in a first glance, in the sense both of them use strikes with hands and feet, but their approach are completely different, a different mind, different way to consider what is more important in training, in a fight... In short, even using foot and hand strikes in both cases, they are so different ways to approach what a combat is, so try Karate for a while, just to compare similarities and differences that can exist behind the appearances. And have fun!! ;)
@@gitim1707 Thank you!! 😃 I agree, that there shouldn’t be any ‘better’ style. I watched a karate class at a school around the corner from my place (ultra convenient!), however I found the teacher to be a bit on the arrogant side. He said more than once how impressed people were with his demonstrations, but I wish he had just let his actions do the talking. I did see him teach some young students and he certainly knew what he was doing. But when I told them which taekwondo organisation I’m with, of which he and his subordinate knew, they started to say ‘I’m not one to say that one is better than the other, but...’ and there was a general air of slight disdain that I detected. So despite the great location, I may not try with them. But I know of another school not too far away, in the Goju-Ryu style, so I’m excited to try that sometime! 😊 Thank you for your encouragement!! 😃
Hey there! Well, exactly that. Speed and precision combined with perfect timing and astonishing control of the body. Thats high speed Karate for you. ;) She understands what part of the body she needs to mobilize to execute the techniques.

Is there a practical reason they slap their own Gi for some techniques? I know it helps make it more, and sound more snappy, but is there a real reason you would do that?
Her katas are pure art, specially this one. She truly is an artist!
She's the best, every single move is perfect.
It's an honor to witness perfection. Thank you.

This is god-tier kata. Unbelievable. This is what a lifetime of dedication will achieve.

Imagine performing in front of a crowd and your reputation is such that they aren’t expecting good or great, but flawless.
Now imagine being skilled to the point you can deliver on those expectations…
Ela e linda e impecável no Kátia. Perfeita
AMAZING, stronger, faster...
it is impossible not to get excited seeing this great preformance...
Her transfer of energy is amazing, every punch 🤜🏾 is hitting the air with a whipping sound.
That's just her uniform making that noise, really??? :)
@@naturesrecovery4516 yah, when you slap your gi, of course you will hear it. She hits her torso between the moves.

I have never seen karate so beautifully executed
It is informative to see that so many of the commenters can't get past her looks. Simply appreciate her virtuosity without coloring it.
この人がやるとピンと空気が張り詰めた感じになって引き込まれるのが凄い。
She definitely represents Japanese Karate very well...Kudos to her...!!!
Pure poetry in motion.
I do not practicing martial arts with Kata, but I know enough to discern that I'm watching one of the best in the world. Well done 🍻

Lo hizo impecable. El único detallito es que hizo un pelín tarde el primer grito (pero el segundo sí lo hizo en el momento preciso).
