From the GitHub data, looks to be using an old PT2272 decoder IC and probably a PT2262 for the encoding. 433MHz RF for Europe, 315MHz for US, low power, licence free band. I Was messing with insecure stuff like this in the early 90's when there was no such thing as code hopping (also no internet, and only an 8-bit computer to use); got an old receiver and recorded signals onto tape(!) then used the computer to view waveform, decode and re-broadcast - much fun for a 12 year old...

we need someone to find the remote frequencies for all the other common gas station sign brands,,, not just that, any LED sign, whether the clock and temperature on your local bank sign or a sign that's like a mini billboard where the picture keeps changing outside of businesses and stuff... no one has done that and added it to the flipper yet have they?

How do you go about it? I have the firmware, and when I went to a Gas Station and used it with consent, I pressed edit mode then back gas, which didn't work, so I pressed edit mode then down gas, which also didn't work, so please help.

Is this legal?
Official firmware will not have any kind of potentially illegal features, such as jamming, brute force, etc. So Flipper Zero should be completely legal in all countries. Since its open-source, you can always implement any feature you want or use 3rd party firmware made by the community. In this case, all responsibility is on you.

The files are in my repo in the description, and organized and labeled fairly well. The problem is just that it only works at gas stations that have installed this exact brand. I’ve only found one gas station it works at. Happy hunting. 😋

Imposible to do this, the standard range of normal flipper is very low.
That distance is close enough for the normal flipper. We like to drive onto the lot of the local Tesla dealership and from the middle of the lot we've been able to pop the gas doors of every Tesla in sight. Then drive around the side and rear of the service department.

If the gas station clerk does see the sign is messed up they most likely will assume it being a bug so I don’t think law enforcement would be called and if they are they won’t care.

You can only change price or by the console inside or by the remote which can be duplicate if some hacker go close while the clerk using it but it’s unlikely because only small garage with pompes use the remote. In an otherworldly, you have to steal the remote and duplicate it with things like Flipper Zero which need the emitter.

the fact that you changed the diplay does not mean you're getting cheaper gas, the display and the pricing are not on the same system. Pricing is related to the gas station's register. It has nothing to do with frequency. Cool gadget tho!

I paid $400 for mine on eBay. Don’t bother. Not worth it. I mean you can turn the tv off, open people’s Tesla gas tanks, unlock doors etc but nothing worth the money. Buyers remorse
