Hi lovelies, today I'm bringing you a foundation review of the Maybelline fit me foundations. We're putting the matte vs dewy to the test. You guys know my skin is normal to dry so it was very surprising to see the final verdict. Let me know what other foundations you would love to see me review?

If your dry you should heavily moisturize well if you’re going to use the matte formula. If you use the dewy just set the foundation with powder.

For me I have unhydrated skin but after that my face will be oily, I’m confusing which one I have to use😕 could u recommend?
Wei Chin you should moisturize well before you starts and then use a prime that controls oil and then use matte if you like or use the dewy and set with powder on your oily areas.
Hi Wei, I definitely agree with the previous comment. I also would recommend a setting spray I find they really work for me!
But did you notice the matte being powdery and the dewy more shiny? I want to get the dewy for dry skin cse the matte looks powdery on my skin. Thoughts? 🤔
Hi Linda, I personally really liked the finish of the matte on my skin even though it’s dry. As long as you use a moisturiser/serum underneath I don’t think you will have an issue with it being powdery. Hope that helps x

Hey! I don't know whether you will answer me or not but I just want to ask that i have normal skin type but whenever I apply this (fit me matte + poreless) it looks rough and patchy and This is the biggest problem ever...Why?can you please help?? Otherwise my foundation will be ruined...😢
Make sure to moisturize a ton as well as maybe adding a hydrating serum. Also let your moisturizer sit for at least 10 mins before applying makeup makes a huge difference!
I use the matte 110. Which dewy should I use? The colors are so different.
Hi Dev! I know their colour range is very broad and doesn’t match up with the dewy vs matte. My best option would be if you are able to go in the store and colour match it yourself that would be the most accurate. You could also just buy the next shade up and mix a little together if it’s too light. Hope that helps :)
The unfortunate thing is here in Malaysia, the stores nationwide only stock matte and poreless. I've only learnt about dewy for dry skin online. I bought ivory dewy 115 online which is the 2nd lightest and it's so dark compared to 110 matte.

Iram Hayat moisturize your skin always before you start. Don’t use a matte primer and or setting spray. When you use the dewy make sure to just powder the oily areas if any and you should be fine.
my skin is very dry and patchy but only have acess to the matte one what would you rcommend I do for it to work??
Hi Asia! I would say try a moisturising face cream and primer underneath. In the areas where it is more patchy you could put a bit of face oil or illuminator depending on your preference? Hope that helps x

Hi Rimi, I’m not too sure about the sensitive skin maybe test it on your hand for a few days see if you get a reaction first? I would prefer the matte one for summer if you do tend to sweat! Hope that helps x
