As a huge Twin Peaks fan, I'm almost as hyped as Michael.
My husband & I watched and talked about Twin Peaks all week long when it was on. He would have loved this if he was still here. Embarrassed myself that it took me 15 minutes in to realize, oh Kyle McLaughlin!

I just *love* how MacLachlan spoke of the beauty of North Carolina and how natives speak there -- kinda like Agent Cooper's love of trees and ducks in Twin Peaks.
Twin Peaks/Snoqualmie Falls is arguably the most beautiful place in the United States.

OMG Malice you solved a huge puzzle that has been bothering me for years! When you held up that painting of a door from Twin Peaks, I freaked out. I spent a few nights at and Air B&B back in 2019 and that painting (copy) was hanging in the living room and I knew that I knew it. It drove me crazy and still pops into my head to this day and you solved it! I never would have come up with it being from Twin Peaks. Ha! Thank you!!!

Anyone who loves twin peaks and video games, there is a game out there called "Who's Lila" which is a love letter to Twin Peak with its own weirdness and storyline twists

I used to watch Twin Peaks with my mom , I watched it again as an adult and I still enjoyed it.
I'm about to watch twin peaks... I've never seen a single episode. And I guess I'll give the podcast a listen to too. 😅
You're in for a treat. That style of show has been attempted so many times, but you just can't reproduce anything David Lynch does.

Love some Badalamenti scores, but it still baffles me that the opening track of the Chameleon’s 1985 album “What Does Anything Mean, Basically?” doesn’t invite more discussion. It seems like the canonical source of this magical theme song. The Chameleon’s opening tracking is titled “Silence, Sea, and Sky.” Listen to it, if you’ve not heard it before. If you’re a Badalamenti and Twin Peaks fan, it will blow your mind. Really, this whole Chameleons album should. Metaphysical stuff. So many thanks for the interview, Malice. I was also beside myself when seeing this lineup!

Huge fan of the show, music and wood as a material. Listened to a couple of derivative audiobooks last year, and a great deep dive video essays about the show by some film student here on YT.

It is amazing for me to run into this today. I have long remembered Dune as one of the few SciFi flicks I liked. It happens that I rewatched it for the first time 3 days ago... and it SUCKED! I can't imagine why I liked it.
