I’m surprised Jerry didn’t confirm with Kramer that his apartment was off-limits, since Kramer goes in there all the time. But it makes for one of the funniest episodes of the series.

There's a deleted scene where Newman tells Jerry how he got fleas after being chased by a dog while doing his route. The reason why Newman was running away from the dog that Kramer released is because it was the same dog that gave Newman fleas.
Can't believe that scene was cut. It was less than a minute long and, with it included, the episode's ending would've actually made sense.

For a stand-up comedian, he actually turned out to be a pretty good actor on the show.

My closest version of this was last summer when I saw apricots for sale after they were missing for two years due to bad crops. My eyes beamed and I turned most of them into homemade jam the same day.

It's these pears that are ALWAYS sold out. They only grow in southern Oregon -- in ideal conditions.
They are shipped by MAIL. ( Newman! ) You can't pick them up at your green grocer.
The entire Harry & David empire rides atop their pears. They branched out.
