I have the acoustic junior and footswitch(MGT-4 as per fender) and this is the first amp I have found that actually you can make your guitar sound like your guitar without masking any sound. The sound is super clear. No hum! I have a gibson hummingbird w/lr baggs vtc and it is fantastic. I also found this amp, with its features and independent channels is far more versitile than any other amp I compared it to, which were many. Thanks for the demo and excellent playing!
I just ordered the SFX 2. Just so fender knows, many of the sites, and online music stores have in the specs that the looper is 60 second looper, and not 90 second looper. Also, just want to tell you your playing is awesome!
Also you can never have too many amps. Acoustic amps maybe lol but if you want this one sell it for as much as possible and put it towards the new amp.
Any thoughts on this acoustic junior vs the Acoustic 100? the main difference I can see is the looper. Has anyone played on both? any difference in sound and quality?
Anyone know if using the Fender Mustang GTX footswitch is an option for the SFX II? I'd like to add a few more switches at my feet, but not at the cost of a fried circuit.
Me too. I got the 2018 Red newport classic. It was $400 (friend discount) I think it sounds better than my made in Mexico Martin tbh. Both are solid wood all the way around. I want this amp though.
Does the fishman pick up need to be plugged into the amp for it to modify the sound, or can some modifications be made by itself? Got a new fender newporter special like shown and just trying to figure out the electrics. I have never had electrics on a guitar and there is very little information on the using of the fishman system. I found the battery box and have a battery in (and it's correctly put in and a fresh battery). But I don't see a power button nor is the screen lighting up or doing anything. So I have emailed fender as I can't find anything else to give me information on how this works, but that can be up to a week for a response per the message after I sent this question. If anyone has information on how this works I'd really appreciate the information. I really want to know what to do so I can play with my new guitar and check what it is capable of.
The amps sound great. The guitarist was quite good as well. The cutting back and forth between cameras did not hide that our talented host was just staring at a teleprompter reading all of his lines.
It’s a shame fender doesn’t have at least a Mexican factory building actual solid wood acoustics .Besides the paramount model I can’t think of any other all solid body guitar .Paramount is kind of a joke really on top of that
1. This amp sucks! The speakers cant handle the volume or power. The side speakers fludder annoyingly. The footswitch depending if your lucky enough for it to work is finicky theres some issues with the connection. I tried 2 different footswitches and 3 different SFX2 amps and it give that error code on the foot switches. Theres something wrong with the footswitch card installed. 2. there is ZERO access do the speakers Im talking about SEALED! 3. If you want to remove the amp BE VERY CAREFUL theres a power cord that will snap straight off the board. Fender knows this and they purosely put and installed a zip tie to know when someone opens it up. once that power strip is out its a major pain to install back in since theres no room. 4. construction is MDF and as i said before taking out the amp will not give you access to the speakers in anyway. The cholth is not removable. 5. no footswitch Pros: -Bluetooth for jam tracks -Built in effects so you dont spend 100s of dollars buying acoustic pedals. There very nice and does the job. -Very light and sleek looking very Modern -The foot switch is a MUST HAVE for Looping and quick switching between the modes and i enjoy using it when it works -Delays, modulations pedals no problem but do think of using a fuzz, distortion or any type of gain on this amp for obvious reasons. How I would improve this product! -Better speakers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -Foot switch connection bugs fixed - Access to speakers
Nope, I will buy any amp that is not a Fender after being screwed on their Mustang series amp when they just up and stopped support for them and removed the download for Fender Fuse when it actually still works to me Fender is just plain untrustworthy!
The looper is pointless(if a musician needs a looper, they'll have one already), should have had more effects for the guitar side -- Like chorus+reverb, need 3 of that effect, slow, med, fast. I also preferred the "Feedback Elimination" switch that was in the previous model vs the "phase" switch thats in these.
I’m a new guitar player and looking to get this amp as my first specifically because it has a looper built in. It’s a short term solution though as I grow and learn more. Just wanna noodle more until I get the confidence to get a blooper/mood
@@ANTHONY81586 I recommend the amp, I've used mine for awhile now. I have the battery powered one, it's a little more expensive, but worth it imo. As far as the looper, sure, why not add it. 😉

Love his playing - beautifully done

The intro riff was so cool!
Super sweet sound!
I buy the fender acoustic 100 and now they got this what am I supposed to do now with this amp
Give me it please 😄
Yeah it sucks how they constantly change. If you talk to your retailers they might be able to help you out.
Use it, return it, or sell it.
reverb hehe

Great Demo!!!!👏👏👏👏👏👏

Anyone know what the first tune is? It's quit beautiful.
Hi Fender, can I play also Digital Piano and Electric Guitar through a pedal on this Fender Acoustic amp? Will it damage the speaker?
That's how an acoustic amp should sound.
U mean peizo? Ha!
What is your opinion on the Fender Twin Reverb for acoustic guitar? Anyone?
No
Not good. Get this amp. You won't be disappointed.
I bought that Newporter guitar last week:) love it

I have the same all mahogany newporter special that started on. It's a really nice guitar.
Can I play an acoustic bass through one of these?
Would definitely go for the rumble bass amps! They are perfect for acoustic basses!
Hi great video and playing sounds great love it
anyone know if this would also work with the GTX-7 footswitch?
👍👍👍
What's the price on the junior amp thanks
Which footswitch goes with this amplifier
Like si amas a tu madre
Can you work on 'em?

That amp have a better tone than Acoustasonic amps.
😍😍❤️❤️
100W in that small package? Tf?

how could i be sponsored by fender ??

Eric clapton before 40 years...
loopers are fun to mess around with but man they are annoying to watch live it's like GET ON WITH IT! haha
One feature that seems to be missing is a headphone jack 😢
doesn't even plug a mic in 🙄
gr8 demo
A master volume is what I want, come on Fender get it done you've really dropped the ball with no master.

That’s why I don’t get amps that need software updates and constant support.
Really? A piezo pickup on a amp that claims natural sound? Please do better!!!

Good point. Also I already own the pedal for my Gdec that works on my Mustang III v2, and should work on this amp too.

I don't have a looper. I think it's really appealing that it has one built in.
