  • Forming new habits isn't about just repetition. It requires rewiring our other neural pathways that may be in conflict with the new behavior we want to grow.
Traditional approaches often fall short because they ignore underlying programming, developed long ago, that can sabotage our efforts.
True habit formation occurs when we create deep neural connections linking behaviors to positive feeling states. And brain-based therapies like EMDR and brainspotting offer powerful tools to identify and reprogram conflicting neural patterns, allowing new habits to truly stick and feel satisfying.
By understanding and addressing our complete neurological landscape, we can create lasting, positive change that goes beyond willpower.
Because, let’s face it, relying on willpower to change habits isn’t effective in the long term.
