I like your improvements to the two tether, I like a leg loop on the top tether also , helps put weight on the top tether before sitting all the way into your saddle, and am playing around with using a doubled rope with the jrb saddle hunters hitch, a foot loop and bridge connection on each rope, also thinking of using a web chest harness on the bottom tether attached to the redundant bridge to keep me close to the tree when climbing . Jrb ascender hitches are awesome huh!
I had and used 2 ropeman1's for a year, but if you do some research friction knots are far stronger and safer, though mechanicals are much more convenient. I practice alot during off season and test things thoroughly before actually climbing with them. Have you seen my 2 test video? No one else in our little community has done a video of such a fall (more than 2 feet!). Thats why I trust my SNEAK knot as well as JRB's. You should at least try them out.... All the best to you! Have a great season!
@@wild_sam9845 I have not seen the video, I will check it out man. Thanks for the insight, everyone has their preferences and this is the first time I have seen this type of setup. Definitley interesting and best of luck to you!
@@nickyslicky Great! I'd totally recommend watching JRB tree climbing channel as he has!s really good demonstrations of the knots and a great full rope climb technique!
I've been wanting to do this as well, would you tell me how you've got that set up? I heard you say you are using a michoacan for adjustment on the bridge side, what hitch are you using on the tether? I'm using a ropeman for my foot loop's connection, what hitch are you using there? Also, I guess you are rappelling down from the top tether, are you able to do that with the jrb hitch?
And yes, I rappel down with the JRB Hitch because nothing comes close to the releasability of it! I have a new way to tie it, video coming this weekend!

Excellent
Looks cool bro but those knots would bother me. I use the ropeman1 best 40$ ever
