Good to see you :) Denver is right - you don't need lots of fancy transitions. In fact, if you try too hard you will probably turn people off. They are there to listen to music, not you going constantly from one song to another with air horn noises and bad scratches. Let your song choices take you where you are going and the rest falls into place.
People will go wild on any song that they like, even if the transition is not smooth. I've been to so many parties with dismal DJs and horrendous transitions and the majority do not care. But I do, and I appreciate it when a DJ performs flawlessly. Keep it up!
