Harari is arguing "human rights don't exist because you cant see, touch or smell them and if you cut a person open you will find blood and guts but no human rights" ...but he is using logic and reasoning to make his point.
What does reasoning smell of? If you cut a person open, where will you find the logic? In the appendix, I guess; maybe that's what it is for!

35:25 is likely referring to Jordan's soon to be published book. I think that is what he means by "....soon to be realized..." I think Paul misunderstands what Jordan is referring to...again...I suspect his new book will discuss these things...

I'm sure you would agree that if you looked inside Yuval, he does in fact believe in human rights. Yuval is a humanist after all. It's just that his materialist framing leads him to these conclusions about useless people and so forth. All he has to do is look at the world for evidence of his thesis. Perhaps one day he will come running to his Father, like the prodigal son, asking Him to pay off his debt.

@@justaguy328 Indeed, genuflection seems the only appropriate response to Yuval Noah Harari's towering intellect. Isn't it a rare and special talent to simplify the labyrinthine complexities of history into neat, 'just so' stories? And let's not be too hasty in labeling his unique style as pretentious. Far from it - he's adeptly surfing the tide of universal cultural homogeneity. For us mere mortals, developing thicker skins might be advisable. After all, who, if not Harari and an accompanying legion of NPCs, could possibly chart a course through such a mire of absurdity while keeping their egos not merely intact but elevating them to stratospheric heights? In these times, it seems, only NPCs can truly come to our rescue.
If people aren’t made in the image of God, then how do humans have value? If there’s no God, then how can gender equality and racial equality have any meaning other than subjective individual opinion?
