    New Scope that doesn’t work out of the box! No mounting rings and No battery supplied. Wow. Great review. Lucky you had supporting hardware.

      @intothenight1993  24 дня назад +4

      @@SeanSteggs haha not sure what you meant by not working out the box. It works very well. Not all scopes do come with rings anyway and I’m yet to confirm if they will come with batteries. Mine was a pre release model that I e been testing for them for a while and giving them feedback on what needed slight improvements and they have certainly listened so that they will function better when they are released to the public. That is called product development.

      @@intothenight1993 thanks for the reply. I meant with out of the box GTG. Good To Go. If this is a prototype / testing scope it’s awesome that they have sent this to you. It’s awesome the manufacturer has listened to your feedback. A man on the land with actually real time exposure. Awesome stuff.

    Hi Josh
    Thanks again for another video! Do you have any idea when you will be getting your hands on the ACE S60R?? If you do a review on the s60r can you clarify how the optical zoom corresponds with the units base mag!
    Cheers 👍

    • @intothenight1993
      @intothenight1993  19 дней назад +2

      Hi Steven. Hopefully soon but they are still working on it to make sure it is perfect before they release it. Im really hanging out to get it! But when I do get one I'll definitely do a video and include a section on the optical zoom. I didn't really cover it in the review of the H50R but it certainly keeps the image clearer than zooming in digitally.

    I was just wondering what is the field of view like compared to others?

    • @intothenight1993
      @intothenight1993  24 дня назад +1

      It’s not too bad but to be expected with a base mag of 3X. 2X would be better for close work but others want to make those longer shots and want more zoom. I think 3X is a good happy medium. But I’m planning one doing a side by side comparison with it and my pulsar and a thermtec ares 2.0 which I’ve just had loaned to me for 12 months. So stay tuned for that video.

      I do see your point. But at the same time who doesn’t like to play with new toys or find out information about new technology that is coming out that makes hunting or feral pest control easier. And if it does then I’m more than happy to tell people about them. I even tell my friends about them in personal conversations because I like it so much. I don’t just do it for the companies but because I personally want people to know about a product If I genuinely love it and think it can help others out too. Yes I have been sent products to review that were cool and would be useful to some but not everyone. Most of them were still good products but I personally don’t use them so most of them I have either given away or they are still sitting in my cupboard. But for the ones I really like I use them regularly. So it’s not just about greed but about helping others by sharing information about what is available to help them decide how to spend or save their hard earned cash. I always go and look at reviews on RUclips before I make pricy purchase. And sometimes I’ve been mighty glad I did.
